When she said “If I could’ve been a grandmother first, I would’ve been a perfect mother” I felt that. Sometimes we always say “my mama treats my child 10xs better than me” when in all reality they realize the mistakes they made as a parent and having grandchildren helps them realize it...that’s the connection that was made because Tracy is the only grandmother and her mom is one as well.

I'm sure alot of mothers can relate to this situation cause my grandparents were totally different people from what my parent said they were. Its like a whole nother person they talking about. When you become a grandparent it changes so much of you as a person when that next generation comes into play.

I think you are wrong. I’m sure Traci felt her mom treated her differently, or didn’t pay much attention to her (we can’t dismiss that) However, I don’t think it stemmed from the parent’s divorce. It had to be an issue prior, that made it easy for Traci to even choose her father’s side in the first place. It’s deeper than the divorce.
@faithwatkins78113 жыл бұрын
@@Aliasss Traci didn't choose her father's side. She chose just to continue to have a relationship with her dad. You don't divorce children, you divorce adults the other parent. Now Ms. Evelyn has made it clear that she's glad that Traci has continued to be close to her dad as she should. I think its the other sisters that resent Traci for making that choice and I mean its easier for her to do so because their brother and father are in Maryland with Traci. Also, I think because Traci is older she's like after Toni as the bigger sister she feels like Traci should handle things a little different especially when dealing with Tamar. Traci is a grandmother now so she can't be acting ratchet and can't be popping off at people like that and thats why her mom came at her at Trina wedding the way she did

@followpeace3512 жыл бұрын
This is so harsh and unfair. You don’t know that they excluded her or if Traci excluded herself. The snippets we saw on TV are grossly edited to create a narrative. Those sisters labored and tolerated long with Traci’s self-induced insecurities. Not disrespecting the deceased, but the whole world is coming for her sisters and that’s not fair. Tamar had Traci open for her tour (for example) and folks’ memory faded. Traci was resentful when they boycotted WeTV for poor wages and she couldn’t because she had no other source of income - but somehow that narrative got flipped. Traci spent a large part of her life being resentful because her sisters didn’t bow to her circumstances and choices. Even in this clip she says “I’m not my siblings.” Yet she choose to be a part of the show (for example). She could have done like their brother and only made cameo appearances and continued live her life on her own terms. She jumped in and played the victim A LOT! May she Rest In Peace.

The love she shows each one of her children is truly beautiful, we as mother's don't know the journey God, has for us until we become a mother or a grandmother it maybe hard but its worth every step we take, we feel we have to be a perfect parent but all our children want is love from thier parents that is the easiest job at the end of the day, to see the love and smiles come from our baby's faces, what a blessing to be able to say as a women we know what true love really feels like from our children, I pray every women is able to feel true love and the blessing of thier baby's.💞🙏🤗.

Again, she wasn't perfect, as she said. Being a parent dealing with life without a manual is hard, especially going through a divorce.

All I can say is what a beautiful sister to all of us. Traci didn't know me but what I could see throughout her career on television that she had a good heart. I will repeat what her mother would say Ima keep it real and Traci and Tamar were the only ones in my opinion who kept it real meaning their true self. Traci had a beautiful spirit and it seemed like she always try to keep other people spirits up eventhough she might be feeling down. Oh how she made me laugh when she was on the Braxton show. I will miss her. RIP my beautiful sister!

You are so right Miss Evelyn and I only have 3 daughters. Being an only child myself. It's hard being a parent to multiple kids without someone feeling they aren't valued when you think you are doing your best.
