Oh my word Tracie Wendy will adore these we had so much fun with your number strip strips yesterday🤗 Oh -I got 100 sheets of vintage “overhead projector sheets clear” WONDERFUL acetate. 1.00 Us Yes AGG & sew 🪡 I press my flowers in the microwave between 2 paper towels w a heavy clay pot on top 30 seconds remove and take off paper towel and done ✅ these are just fab. One could use the film from a window business envelope if no acetate or clear packaging Thank you for sharing your time and inspiration and artistic talent always love

I have made tags from scraps of paper.... even used tags that are part of a kit. I love this digital kit.... and have finished up downloading it.... as well as your Random Field Notes one... and the Framework one!!!! I can see a whole lot more tags being made in my future. lol!!!! As this will definitely open up both using my scraps and adding something different to some of the kits I repeatedly use. Thanks Tracie.....!! 💖

Love these, Tracie! FYI, you can put tissue paper on the acetate to keep it from sliding around too much when sewing & then you simply tear the tissue away when you’re done. A seamstress friend taught me that trick & it has worked like a charm!

Beautiful kit. I have a couple of questions if that’s ok. First, does anyone know of some really good tutorials for using graphics in Procreate as I would like to make some digital papers for my journal but I don’t have Photoshop or Elements? Secondly, when you make a journal do you need to identify the maker of every item you use? Or just mention where you bought items from? Lastly, how do you store printable kit items if you have items from more than one place, or do you only print items when you want to use them? Thank you, sorry to ask so many but I’m still fairly new.
@TracieFoxCreative2 жыл бұрын
Hi there, I do not know any tutorials using anything other thank PS but you can search KZbin, I am sure they are out there. If you print a digital kit to use in a journal, you are going to sell, you need to read the terms and conditions from the seller...they are not all the same. Some will ask you to mention some will not. I store files in folders under the shop name when I buy them and print when I need them x Hope this helps x
@tezzcan12 жыл бұрын
@@TracieFoxCreative thank you so much for replying. Unfortunately most tutorials for procreate are for drawing, which I’m bad at. I have no plans to sell any journals, so I guess I’m ok there. I’m afraid I don’t have the patience to only print when I need something and I’ve been finding fussy cutting in the evening so I guess I will just have to make sure I bag and name the maker when they are cut. Thank you again for answering. Best wishes. Tracy.

Love these! They would also be awesome for those coin (plastic circle "thingys") that you used a while back for specimens if they had a circle on the tags. Yes, I will admit, I purchased some after you showed us how to use them LOL

Tracie I think you are very talented. I wish I could do some of the stuff that you make. I am curious though as to where you purchased your stamp. I love the specimen tags and of course already have them sitting on my desk to cut out. But I don't have any stamps yet that I could use for the back to make them look at nice as yours. Any suggestions?

Great kit. I do have a question, what settings do u use for small eyelets.? I can’t seem to ever do that properly! I ruin so many eyelets. I use the WRMK eyelets for regular holes but the small ones just buy off Amazon. I use the cropadile. I know there are tons of sizes but I’m curious as to which setting you use. Thank you 🙏🏻 🥰

These are perfect Tracie. I've been wanting to capture the foliage in my yard so I can create a journal of this house I'm in now.Well be moving in a couple of years when my husband retires. I'll be using them for all of the wildlife around here too, although i sure would love to have a kit of somilar looking images for the animals (*hint * hint*). I guess that will be my Flora & Fauna journal. If you consider a Fauna Kit, please consider asking your Subs or FB group for a list of animals. Here in California there's one or two that are localized. Any recommendations for a descent flower press? Thanks SO much!

love these. Question for future stuff: Do you ever use calendar images? they are beautiful, but over here the paper is so thin, and all glues create a ripple, I collaged on the back, and it helped, however the places where the collage over-lap show I guess, texture? hahah....my husband always says it's all good, it's a junk journal and the images are pretty anyway....if you do use calendar images, any advise?
@TracieFoxCreative2 жыл бұрын
I dont use calendars sorry hun but you will never get away from the overlap texture. The glue you use will help with ripples though :-D x

Where did you get the stamps hun I can't find any cheap in the UK they are all like £10 for 10 which is very expensive for me lol, and also do you know much about printers as mine keeps saying my colour ink is empty after 1 print so I have turn it off set it up print a page then repeat which is very annoying lol it a hp3764. X Lottie xx
@TracieFoxCreative2 жыл бұрын
Hi there, the stamps I used Are MAKIstamps and Tim Holtz. There are many cheaper stamps, look at the Works and The Range. Any stamps would work, they do not have to be what I used. I am sorry I know nothing about the HP printer but I found this when I googled it support.hp.com/gb-en/document/c03923208

Oh forgot, as for the acetate, I have rather sturdy acetate and I stitch it with the acetate on top. That works best for me, as the paper goes very well with the transport element of the machine. Acetate could give more difficulty and sliding.
@TracieFoxCreative2 жыл бұрын
Thanks hun...I had to sew this tag up so I could see where to sew. It seems fine on my machine...I think maybe the feed dogs will make a difference on all machines. x
