i wish i knew the ID number of your track, could give you a quick feedback ) But judges didn't get to see the authors, and i think authors didn't get to know the ID numbers of the tracks for privacy of voting...

We make them all the time. Not so often have to remove quad from trees. For example we just had a 25 people three day race, and no body got stuck :)

Great work as always. One question, in the "Anole, Anol, A..whatever" track you mentioned that having aggressive corkscrew on the speedline is not a good point. I always thought that having cork after sppedline is good point to switch from speed area to technical. If im wrong, what is the best way? It feels that split s with good exit may be it...what else should we use for the speed-tech switch?

THanks! Yeah like imagine you going straight forward and then sudden very sharp cork... That gate is where people will be crashing :) Altho i tihnk it would be totally cool on slow specs. Just not in open class public track. I would say, Split-S - yes - a good speed-tech switch. Also orbit around the flag (high-low into the gate) could be a nice "stopper". Half-carosell i think would do the trick too. On Anole track would probably be enough to just move the right gate of the cork more to the right, so that the approach would be more like a wide curve instead of almost straight line. Ayykayy brought up this possible solution in the meeting.

Wait so 5 degree gates are bad because they cause crashes but putting hurdles in to reduce chances of mid air crashes by elevating traffic is bad?!?Totally agree that you should be able to enforce left or right orbit on double gates.
