dual stick sighting , ALL HAIL OKONA ! great video man o7 , got my tIR right before we lost support for it so never got a chance to use it yet . and never knew it was a viable option for gimbaled weapons

Add the pause hotkey so you can disable it when walking if you like.

Thanks for the great video series. I've been using Track IR now for awhile across multiple games and think the added control input of free look take the experience to the next level. It was great to see your input settings and preferences. Thanks for Sharing. QUESTION: About aiming with gimbal setups. Somewhere around 3.1 aiming gimbaled system with TrackIR stopped for me. Freelook is working perfectly, and in Focus mode TrackIr will still move my cursor. However TrackIR will no longer aim my gimbals cursor, have you found this to be the case as well? I've tried toggling "Look Ahead", and have unbound all "Aiming" controls from Mouse, Joystick and Gamepad inputs. Any idea? -Thanks!

Hi Noobifier! Can you explain how to get Track Ir to aim gimbaled weapons in 3.3.0? It controls my view outside the cockpit - but, does not control my weapon sight. I have dual T16000's+pedals+voice Attack. Everything seems to work as needed - except I can't aim my guns! I have done many searches and have been trying to find some instruction on this for several hours without success.

@@mikeg2092 I discovered after writing that message that it is a known issue by CIG. They'll fix it when they have time. But, it isn't a priority currently as not many people use it to aim weapons.

I've been using Trackir for a few years now, pretty much only free look infantry use like in arma, Miscreated, Dayz. I've wondered if there is an association with this and the chronic neck pain that ive had since. I'm not sure whether it was Trackir usage with the need to precisely move your head that has resulted in my ongoing neck pain or just gaming in general, as well, that keeps the problem going. Have any other trackir users had the same problem?

I average on 3 to 4 hour sessions every night or so. Sadly ,not all the games i play have head tracking.grrr. I'm 50 yo ,so maybe the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.LOL. I have read ,incidentally, that Tobii Eye Tracker 4C can be used in Star Citizen for head tracking ,but you have to use FreePIE,which confounds the hell out of me

Well you should propably consider your desk ergonomics, sitting wrong can really give you neck pains. My old man going on 70 have chronic neck prolaps - he games 6-7 hours a day without any extra neck pain, due to a proper desk setup. I personally have used Track IR since the early 2002-2003 and have no neck pain.

So, how do I set things in SC to have gimbals / guns follow trackir? So far, all I can do is look around cockpit, guns seem locked like fixed (gimbal locks are not engaged.)

Can you do a video about setting up Track-IR for Mouse users? Right now I am having trouble as both my mouse and Track-IR are moving the same cursor and it gets very confusing in a dogfight since mouse+TrackIR are moving the screen cursor in opposite directions sometimes.

Callsign: Squeak if the weapons are gimballed they would track your head cursor providing track IR was launched before launching SC
