Great explanation, simple and straight forward. I appreciate your video. I used it many times, I never can remember which way to turn the tie rods. I use the "Tracrite" from England, saved me many dollars on alignments over the years with do it yourself alignments.

I just drive up my local road to check the steering is straight as I found it difficult to check in my drive. three short trips and I was able to get it perfectly straight then made a final adjustment to get the toe in for my vehicle. Thanks for bringing this to the market it's saved me lots of money over the years as I live very rural and having to drive to a garage is expensive so doing everything myself is a big advantage and much cheaper too.

Thank you for this video. I had been having problems with my steering wheel leaning to the right for a few months. After watching this video I went to an alignment center this morning and explained it to them what I wanted done on the car. After 3 adjustments/test drives my car is now running perfectly straight.

Had an alignment done to my Dakota and got it back with the steering wheel off center to the left. Instead of going back and asking them to readjust it, I used your video to get it perfectly centered at home. Mine has the tie rods ahead of the wheel centerline so it was a matter of opposite adjustments from your demo. Thanks

I wish the alignment shops I went to understood this. Able to drive my car and make equal adjustment based on thread measurement

I hit a barrier at 80 kays. My front right wheel and bull bar took the brunt. I'm fixing my toe today thanks to your video

Excellent video. Maybe you should send this to Firestone. They obviously need help with their alignment cause they couldn't even align my wheels right with their "high tech" alignment machine. Especially, with fully adjustable suspension system I just put in.

The tie rod on my Audi is connected towards the front of the wheels, so the adjustment procedure would be the opposite of this.

Does this apply to any car ? I ask because recently I took my car in for an alignment and was told that the treads should be different on each side as per vehicles specs to track correctly straight ? any ideas on this info ?
