Tracker Pro Team 195 TXW After Tournament Review

Decided to do a review on my Track PT 195 TXW after fishing my first tournament in the boat yesterday. I realize these are my thoughts and opinions on this boat and not everyone will agree with me. So let me know what you think down in the comments.

I purchased 2018 anniversary pro 195 team txw and pretty much the same concerns you did. I put the 36v 113 minn Kota auto deploy and love it (I fish alone a lot is y I went with that) also put humming bird helix’s 7” front & back but there is no way (6’.3”)I could put a hot foot on this boat! My layout is a little different as well as I added the 2nd console. I do feel the fit/finish is a little less than desirable but I only paid 27k for mine. I appreciate your perspective and you showed me a few tricks I can add to mine! I’m in Az and that ice chest is no bueno. Love this boat,,, but time I miss that ol 20’ champion. Thxs again.

I've had mine a year now and really love the boat. Like you the fit and finish on these isn't the best but for the money you spend you get a good quality and very fishable boat. I did take the cooler out and insult it better so mine works great now. Not a tough job but not easy either. I do like the new layout of the 2019 and new boats over the older ones. Thought about adding a second console but it would be out of the boat a lot more then in the boat. That second console really gets in the way tournament fishing.

Trackers Boats are Good Quality!! my dad still has his from 2004! he still runs as good as New! 9.9 motor Mercury runs great!

Hey Derek ‼️You did your homework and ended up with a AWESOME RIG ‼️Speed is of the upmost in tournaments and you are getting close to 60 mph loaded with fuel , live well full and a partner is great. I am POSITIVELY SURE that you will be VERY SATISFIED with the new four stroke Mercury to , even though, as you know , I am a die hard Mercury man .Your overview of your rig is spot on also. Being honest about the plusses and minuses is very helpful to fellow anglers who are in the market for a new rig to. Looks and sounds like you got your dream rig for you and your very talented Granddaughter ‼️🐍😁TIGHT LINES MY FRIEND ‼️‼️😁🐍 PS , look into a Trick Step for your trailer , I put it on my new Ranger trailer and it made a tremendous difference in me being able to get in and out of the boat launching and taking it out of the water and just getting out and in at home ‼️

60 mph....must be nice to live at sea-level! Living in Colorado, you'd be no where close to that. I have a V-19 Combo but your bass boat is one of my favorites! Love the white. Good video. Enjoy!

Glad it helped my friend. I've owned both aluminum and fiberglass boats and can say the new hull design of the trackers really make them ride like fiberglass boats. Love this one for sure.

With the upgrades and TTL my out the door was a little over $30K but you are right you can't get another boat like this for close to the price.

I watched A video where you took 2 adults red fish fishing.with 3 people in the boat even moving around it seems very stable ..I was impressed. I fish out of a glass boat but mainly crappie fish now and am considering an aluminum boat..really like the 195..

Yes she is just a stable as any of the glass boats I've owned. Wide and roomy enough to fish 3 adults without issues. I really do love this boat.

It was 27k total for a 2019 195 Tournament Edition with the 150hp. Maybe I'll find a good deal again next year.

My '99 PT 175 came with Motor Guide trolling motor.

Mine has a Motor Guide, but it was one I had bought and was less than a year old so I had them install it when they upgraded my system to 24volts.

Hey Derek, great video. I recently bought the same boat and was curious how far up on the trim gauge do you trim the boat at high speed?

When it is under power it will limit how high you can raise the trim. I run it all the way up for top speed, but you will have to trim down to take sharper turns.

I fished the Bassmaster Team Championship out of this boat in December on the Harris Chain in Florida. Boat did great and the only thing the bigger high dollar boats had over mine was a little speed.

Great boat and nice review. By the way...it's an engine, not a motor. Motors are electric as in trolling motor. Just trying to be helpful.

I am looking at this boat. Right now i have a javelin renegade 20 that runs in the 70s. The deck on the tracker is a whole lot bigger than on my javelin. Now with that being said running 60 I would want both hands on the wheel. You have the hot foot on yours. I'm 6'3", do you think a hot foot would work for me? Also did you install a trim lever at the wheel? Thanks for your input!

Michael, I'm 5'6" and I'm thinking of moving my Hotfoot back towards me another inch. The only way to know for sure if it will work or not is go to the Tracker Dealer and get them to set a Hotfoot down there for you to see. That is what my dealer did for me. Good Luck!

No my graphs aren't networked yet, waiting to get a better unit for up front before I do that and will likely let Bass Pro do the work.

Yes, you will need a 24v trolling motor on this boat. The stock 12v won't get the job done. Also when upgrading get the 52-54 inch shaft, the 45 inch shaft is not long enough for this boat.

The main differences are, the TXW comes with a 12 volt trolling motor and system, 2 bank charger and one Hook 5 sonar. The Tournament comes with a 24 volt trolling motor and system, 3 bank charger and two Hook 5 sonars. I had them upgrade my TXW to 24 volts, 3 bank charger and put the Hook 5 up on the bow and add a Hook 9 at the console. So after the upgrades mine is basically a tournament edition.

Water condensation in storage box is a huge problem with these boats. The boxes drip with water on Florida waters and must be left open after use to dry out and remove odor. Replaced the cheap bulge pump with a auto pump in a very tight area that took over 3 hours and a lot of strong language. Live well drainage is a joke and forget the cooler.

I did not think there was much difference between the 170 and need Classic XL I was told it was maid on the exact same frame they just move the furniture around same size motor

I just got one yesterday. Took it out today and after an hour or so the idle air control valve failed and now it idles at 1800 rpm. Hope to have that fixed in the next few days. Mine however seems over propped. During breakin, when going from the 4500 rpm to full throttle, it only goes to about 5200 or so. At 4500 it's 43mph, at 5200 its 51mph. Has a ss 24p prop. What is on yours?

Hate to hear about the valve problem. I've got the stock SS 24P prop and get 5500 rpms. There are a couple things that can cause you not getting full range out of her. Either your trim needs to be reflashed for the right trim level or the motor needs to be moved up one mounting hole.

@@natloz17 Yes, I'm fishing a lot of tidal rivers and bayous so it varies depending on the water flow. With the current I'm getting 58-60 and against the current I'm seeing 55-57. That is with a full tournament load, 2 guys and full livewell.

Bass pro’s web site shows this boat for 24,500. Yet you paid just over 30,000. Did you do an engine upgrade or something ?

The 24k price is for the boat with the 115HP motor, I have the 150HP. Plus I had them upgrade the trolling motor system to 24 volts, that included a new 3 bank charger, upgraded the sonar and installed a Hot Foot.

@@semiauto3148 I had a 1990 Skeeter I fished for many years. She had a 150 on it too, but no where as close to as fast or as smooth as this Tracker. The Tracker 195 is the best value in bass boats so if you get a chance go for it my friend.

Did you compare the 195 to an Xpress X19? I've been looking around online at aluminum bass boats, in case I can ever afford to replace my current 1999 Pro Team 175.

@@lsnead72 Yes, I compared almost all the different Aluminum Bass Boats. The Xpress is nice, but they are really proud of them and basically out of my price range. I still liked the Trackers layout, deck space and storage space over all the other 18-19 foot boats on the market, fiberglass and aluminum.

Most of the add on stuff was done by Bass Pro before I picked up the boat such as the 24volt trolling motor system, 3 bank charger, extra 9 inch Lowrance and Hot Foot. Out the door was under 32K including TTL. The V-T2 livewell vents were $50 and the deck lighting was about $100, so I'm still under 32K.

This is my 4th bass boat with my previous being a Skeeter and to tell the truth I'm not seeing any real difference. When ever the wind gets to blowing when you are on the trolling motor it is going to move the boat around on you.

It does have part of the deck that is wood. Not all of the deck is wood, Not sure why the didn't get rid of all the wood.
