It is kinda nice to watch another tracker having to follow a buck through nasty thick crap…99% of the time when I am tracking in WI/MN, I am swimming through the brush. Our woods is wicked thick!!!

I wonder if they were snacking on balsam fir tips or mosses and likens maybe everything. Twig eater. Been following a few deer tracks here and they skirt the back roads nibbling on alders etc. moose too. Almost every set of deer tracks I see are accompanied by a set or two of coyote tracks.
