Many places in Yunnan grow cassava. It is often sold at a price of several jiao per jin. My grandpa says that in places where cassava can be successfully grown, other crops do not grow well. Moreover, it is laborious to dig it out. Most villagers don’t know that those delicate desserts and milk tea on the streets are made from cheap cassava starch… So this time, I want to make desserts with it and let them have a taste. A bottle of milk tea, a bowl of taro balls with brown sugar, and a piece of steamed little bowl cake. The villagers have grown cassava for so many years, and when they have food made from cassava this time, they find it most fashionable and satisfying.

阿盆姐製作珍珠時也有用紅糖 是往期視頻的甘蔗熬製的紅糖 不過奶茶應該是用白砂糖煎茶葉(您大概說是這個吧😆) 沒有杠的意思喔~本人也超愛喝台灣珍珠奶茶😍

赤色砂糖是二砂，是比較清爽帶有甘蔗香的甜味，紅糖/黑糖則是溫暖醇厚的甜味，味道差很多，台灣最早期的冰品其實是比較常用二砂的～ 另外製作時加的其實是焦糖色素（同時帶有焦糖香），珍珠煮好後會再加糖去悶，台灣傳統冰品及珍奶是用二砂悶，後來才衍生出以黑糖或蜂蜜去悶的，用二砂悶的才會有台灣正統珍奶的味道 by 30年前家裡就賣珍奶的台灣人（技術是跟春水堂學的❤）

Cassava is one of the best root veggies ever! In my country we cook them in many forms, but the best way we love to eat them is boiled up and then lots of pickled red onions on top! It is delicious. We also have a flat bread called Casabe made from this. It's so cool to see how versatile this root veg can be.

The cassava is grated in a certain type of grater, mixed with little salt and some palm sugar n then steamed for about 45 minutes. When it's cooked, we put some shreded coconut. Yes, I've been watching her videos for at least a coupla years now, and it becomes very obvious that she is a highly intelligent and very capable individual with a big heart. Think of all the things she's accomplished these last years ! On the back of this successful KZbin channel she's got herself a new house built and has run several dozens of smaller projects besides, apart from filming and making food - and being a great ambassador for Yunnan Province (and presenting neighbouring ethnic groups). @@logicbender858 Are you actually simple? You need PERMISSION from the CCP to publish content abroad, it is banned for Chinese people to publish anything. It might be hard for you to realise but every popular Chinese media person career lives and dies on the say of the party. The idea that a channel that shows idyllic and unrealistically favourable portrayals of rural China (the abundance of food, the easy access to ANYTHING they need for a video) is NOT being funded by the CCP local government or central government is zero. And I like this channel, I just take it for what it is. It’s the best soft propaganda China has produced. That’s not to say I don’t like the people or get swept away in the delusion
