Nice video guys, love the red tractors, particularly 60s and 70s stuff, that heat houser brings back memories, people might laugh but on cold fall day plowing that wind break was much appreciated, cheers

On the subject of adding small square bales to a TMR. We bought an Oswalt tumble mixer because we were tired of replacing worn thin augers. Barrel was stainless steel and we really liked it. To add sqbs we got a Goosen sqb chopper like landscapers would use. It had an electric drive option as opposed to PTO. Set that up so it would blow chopped hay into the tumble mixer. The mixer blended the hay right in and delivered the mix through our belt feeder. Best part was the cows never did any sorting of the TMR.

We used to have an 8920.Best tractor I ever ran. Loved the fact I could change gears just by moving a handle without using a clutch or reducing engine speed especially when spraying. We used it to pull a 20 foot disc, 3 point narrow row planter, litter spreader. Can't recall if we pulled our 4 row tobacco bedder with it. We may have used our White 155. We sold it and some other equipment a few years ago after we stopped row cropping. We now just have turkey houses and a few cows.We still have a few tractors around.

Our 7210 has the same big drawbar, our 766 is the easiest starting tractor I have ever seen, also have IH truck with same engine; didn’t see any hydros in your fleet! We have about 10 of the same tractors you do and about 10 more you don’t! Love the Faith, Family & IH sign in the background, keep it up, love your channel

Best era of tractors. I'd take any of these over anything produced today.

We can work on them, nice and simple, had a 8 and 1206 both westerns no 3 point, pto, or adj front axle, had the pump overhauled on the 12 4 times I think and it came back hotter every time, cal and 7 sets of weights and it would spin in forth any where, it would pull down a little in fifth with the manifold pressure from 12-24 lbs it would burn oil cooling it but the gauge hardly ever moved

Awesome tractors. I never knew they made a 385. I thought they only went to 384 prior to caseih. I love the 786.

Loved the tractor tour. Grew up with red tractors and worked for IH then Case-IH dealer for almost 10 years through the 80's.

Give a Rennecker a welder and some wrenches and you'll never know what they might come up with! My father had two hay wagons that Quinter Rennecker put together from car axles salvaged out of the junk yard. All of the hay and straw bales were hauled on those two wagons. Capacity was 85 bales each wagon. My brother and I did all of the unloading and stacking of those bales in the barns. Our best day was 15 loads of hay on one very hot June day! Our father did all the stacking of the bales onto the wagon out in the field while my sister in law drove the tractor pulling the bailer. That's right - 2 tractors.

My grandfather had an 856 on the farm for years, had front wheel assist too. That 8920 Magnum is a nice tractor. My grandfather bought a Magnum around 1995, powerful tractors.

We had a, new Holland 285 that would beat 100 lbs, wire tie, set it so it just wouldn’t slip the twist on the wire and it’d bale 75 lb grass hay, baled a bunch of alfalfa bales of third cutting that was going to Texas when they didn’t have hay and after a dry winter 2 pickup loads left over avg 103 lbs so the guys complaining about the weight probably had reason as they hauled it out of the field

Is that 856 an original Custom with dual headlights and dual remotes added later, or is it a regular 856 with Custom decal plates stuck on it? From behind it looked like it had two hydraulic remotes, but I couldn't see for sure in dark lighting.

As far as we know this is an original 856 custom, it does have dual headlights and two hydraulic remotes
