It's like Michael's voice haven''t age or even changed in the last 30 - 40 years. When I heard Michael said 30 years of marriage with that same tone of voice that he always has since he was 21. It was surreal to hear. Through the years, we grew up with him, but we never grew out of him being up there in age. In our hearts, we still look at Michael as a 20 something year old kid on the tv screen.

@EdsterIII Жыл бұрын
Now THAT is perfectly said sir. In Hollywood where marriages last as long as a baseball season, Tracy has stuck with her husband. It's sad to say how rare that is, but it's a fact. I was raised that unconditional love is absolutely the MOST PRECIOUS THING YOU CAN HAVE. My Grandpa proposed to my Grandma when they were 16. Now this was WAAAY back. They were married when they turned 18. The year was 1915. They stayed married until my Grandpa had a massive heart attack and passed away in 1982. For 67 years they were married. Now my Grandparents helped raise me in my childhood growing up. They moved over 450 miles so they'd be near us. My Grandpa was the most patient, gentle, caring, sweet, courageous, protective, and strong men that I ever met. My Grandma was also extremely loving, caring, sweet, and very very protective as well. However she wasn't always an easy person to deal with. She was a very stubborn lady. She may have only been 4'11" maybe 5 feet tall, but ooh she could be an ornery little lady! My Grandpa loved her more than life itself. Whatever the issue, he fixed it. And if it couldn't be "fixed" he would admit defeat, and give in to her. His words, no argument is worth anyone going to bed angry at each other. There's NOTHING that can't be rectified, fixed, solved, or corrected, before bedtime and he always made a point to live by those words. One minor dilemma? It doesn't always work IF your partner doesn't work with you and again is as stubborn as a cranky mule. Won't budge, won't move, and won't give an inch! Yet he always was able to remedy the situation. Seeing that, seeing my Grandpa's love, was not just a beautiful and special gift, but given the fact I grew up dealing with alcoholism and so many arguments, and eventually ending in divorce.....but then they re-married, then divorced AGAIN, and yep, they re-married one more time. This time they never divorced. They did split and lived in separate homes, they were still "legally" married in the eyes of the courts. It seems as though marriages like everything else nowadays is disposable. Disposable lighters, disposable razors, disposable anything and everything! Even Fast Food type marriages, and many more idiotic things are possible nowadays. Except for staying married. Again Hollyweirdo's marriages have the longevity of as I said a football season. And like a football season by the end of it you couldn't care less who won or lost. Your usually just happy that it's OVER WITH!!!!!

They have a track record, they have a great Board and great medical connections and ongoing relationships....they are making a difference! And Parkinson's knows no borders, no skin color, no political party or religion. We can ALL make a difference by investing in the demise of this disease. But if you have been blessed with more than most......how about making a difference in the lives of people you don't know or in the life of Michael J. Fox and his family. Maybe you could write that check for the second Billion dollars that took the foundation 22 years to raise. Thank you for at least doing something.

Wow, what a man. He's improved on this disease. Okay, he got arm twitching, but his facial movement had massively decreased. What drugs he uses to relax muscles is working well , plus it's him understanding how it works to control it too. Very proud and happy to see that!
@kalorakalora4 жыл бұрын
Nah man look into it. The constant jerky motions ARE the side effects from the medications he takes FOR the Parkinson's... sadly, and I directly quote MJF here, "The dsykenesia (movements caused by the meds) is much preferable to the actual symptoms of Parkinson's" Its true.. by the end of Parkinson's you can't move or even speak. Full-blown vegetable but your mind is 100% in tact. One of my grandparents had it. Sad but good for MJF for being such a bad ass trooper. I would choose being able to move with jerky compulsions over being paralyzed too
@beanj5804 жыл бұрын
@@kalorakalora your mind is many times not 100 percent in tact. Many also wind up with dementia in later stage Parkinson's. Michael J. FOX was diagnosed very young so they usually live much longer with the disease and go through the stages of Parkinson's much slower.

@@kalorakalora True. My deceased dad had Parkinson's and what made it worse was the fact his mind was still very sharp but he was physically helpless. And he was a proud man but had to swallow his pride when he allowed strangers (nurses) to help him with those embarrassing moments because he could not longer do those without help. Those with dementia no longer know the people around them or the situation they are in but those with Parkinson's are very very much aware of their surroundings and helplessness. I did not know what Parkinson's truly was when I helped take care of my dad and there were days I was so tired in carrying dead weight that I was cruel to my dad. I know better now.

MorbidManMusic God allowed that for a reason or maybe two. It probably strengthened him and his family and also encouraged and strengthened many other people too to fight the challenges of life and maybe the same disease or others. Another reason it happened is because this world is not perfect and pure. It’s sinful and not fair. We deserve to live here so God is doing nothing wrong. When He helps us it’s His mercy.
