Liebe Tracy Anne. Das ist ja wunderschön. Das muss ich unbedingt ausprobieren. Die Negativ-Technik hat mich total fasziniert. Vielen herzlichen Dank für das zeigen. 😘 Liebe Grüsse Christa

Hi Tracy, I never had a knack for manual labor and could never do the drawing you've shown here. But I really enjoyed watching you do it. Thank you very much for sharing your art.

Oh my! I usually stay away from color for many reasons but your tile is so enticing I have got to try! I even ordered watercolors you use. Looking forward to trying this negative space idea. Thank you.

I am new to this and I can't wait to start, what supplies do I need to start and or are there starter kits that I can buy/order from Michaels or Amazon?
@TracyAnneWilkinson2 жыл бұрын
I have listed the supplies under the description in the video. You only need a Zendala tile or watercolour paper cut into a circle, I can’t remember the size of the circle offhand but it is listed under the video. you also need watercolour paints and brushes. I used round brushes - a size 12 brush and a size 3 brush, other than that I used a brown micron 01. if you want to cheat like I did on the last layer you could use a black pen. I used a uniball eye fine pen by the Mitsubishi company. I can’t remember the colours I used but I do name each colour in the video.

I have just started doing zentangle. When a friend showed me about five years ago how to do when she recommended the micron pens. And I noticed in some of your videos that you use the uniball black eye fine pen also. Can you tell me why. I find that the micron 01 has trouble with the point if I use it on mixed media paper. I also noticed your uniball eye fine is 07 but they have an extra fine that is05. Was wondering which is better.i

I generally use micron pens but their tip is like a fine tube so they easily get clogged when drawing over any other pigments like watercolour paint, pastels or coloured pencils. I have found that the uniball-eye pens work well when drawing over these pigments. These pens are waterproof and the ink comes out easily. I use the fine for the simple reason that my local store only stocks fine. I do find that this is sometimes a bit thick so the extra fine would probably be better. I only use them to draw over other pigments and not for general drawing because the ink comes out very wet and can be easily smudged. If I’m doing a drawing that is simply black pen on white paper I always go for the microns.
