I love peoples sketch books, nosy me, just love all the ideas that everyone has and they are all so different, the quirkier the better. Love imperfect pictures, so much character. Thank you Tracey.

Thank you for such a realistic flip through, of a realistic sketchbook, in your realistic work area! So many tours are through impeccable, unachievable books, in magazine perfect rooms! But yours is so relatable for many striving to be artists for our own sanity and pleasure. Bless you! 🥰

I’ve followed you for years and love your use of colour. I feel like I’ve just learned so much more about your work - including how beautifully you capture women. All the feminine forms in this sketchbook are gorgeous.

I am using a Strathmore sketchbook too at the moment (400 series) and I am 37 pages in already. My first page was a horse that I drew based off a photo that I took.. And drawing faces can be very hard!! I am quite new to drawing people and so far I have drawn a few in this sketchbook and it can be very hard to get the pic to look like the person. I really enjoyed looking at your sketchbook. My favorite was the teal pic 2nd to last in the book.. O never would have guessed it was made to use up paint. I am definitely experimenting in mine all right.. Some things are tricky to draw... Or to figure out which method you want to use. So far I have used several different ways to draw trees + shrubs. They definitely are tricky! In one pic I have a very realistic fallen tree in the foreground with these stylized trees in the back! 😂

400gsm? In a sketchbook? That’s incredible. Just done a quick search and can’t find it anywhere but will be on the look out now.

Two months later and still not managed to track down a single sketchbook in 400gsm. I wonder if you could link it?

Why do we feel pressure to make our sketchbooks perfect in the first place😫 I love watching real sketchbook tours that not polished! Thank you for the video❤ I m inspired to post my own sketchbook tour one day

I appreciate the lovely perfect sketchbooks with finished works of art we see on most sketchbook tours but I think they've scarred a lot of people. Those should be called portfolios vs sketchbooks. Your sketchbook is a real sketchbook. A place for experimenting and learning. Its beautiful ❤
