I usually agree with Mason's takes but there are some irresponsibly bad recommendations in this episode. "Someone was able to trade Godwin for Mixon" says it all. WTF would anyone want Mixon over Godwin? The expected uptick in production for Godwin playing in the slot can't be overstated. In addition to Godwin, recommending to dump Nabers, Prescott, and Charbonnet are equally nonsensical -> especially considering their low draft investment. Walker is likely to get hurt during his sleep, most likely the week you trade away Charbonnet. Over his career Prescott consistently outperforms his preseason ranking, but his preseason ranking subliminally causes people to continue undervaluing him during the season (i.e. poor trade bait). Given the Cowboys poor run game and subsequent pass heavy offense, in a year with depressed passing, why would you want to move on? However, none of these trade recommendations compare to moving on from Nabors. He is well on his way to a historic rookie season and looks like a locked-in Top 20 flex play every week (note: I'm severely muting my actual projection -> I think he's likely to be Top 10). Nabors is averaging 13 target per game, and more importantly he's actually producing big stats on those targets. How many other WRs are averaging even 10 targets a game? The answer is none. Zero. Nada.
