But all this criticism about the Bills being "MUCH WORSE OFF" after the trade ... NO DUH !!! Do you people honestly think the Bills WANTED to have to trade Diggs ???? Do you think Josh Allen wanted to lose his #1 receiver and "brother?" Lose that talent from the team, have to absorb an insane salary cap hit, and basically give him to another AFC competitor for next to zero return ??? Puh-leeezzze. NO. This trade and itrs timing are ALL Diggs' doing. Diggs made it abundantly clear that he was going to continue to be a toxic, microaggressive malcontent this season if the Bills made him honor his contract and remain in Buffalo. He wouldn't even wait a year so that his dead salary cap hit wasn't so devastating to the Bills and their ability to field a championship contending team. So, just as he had done in Minnesota, Diggs again followed his typical selfish "me-first" "playbook" in Buffalo and FORCED HIS WAY OUT. Are we going to ignore the fact that when Digg dropped in production in the second half of the season the Bills went on a big win streak. We will be fine without Diggs just like how we went from 11% chance of making the playoffs to being top of AFC East when Diggs had low production.

The Bills do not need to draft 2 receivers. They probably will but Shakir is more than adequate to be the 2nd receiver. Samuels will be the 3rd. They also have a very intriguing prospect in Justin Shorter and Mack Hollins will be the 4th. Pair that will our running back, two tight ends and our 1st round draft pick, we'll be fine.

Me personally it had to be done. Stefon didn’t wanna be there and you’re not getting off the franchise that is the QB so 🤷🏽♂️. I also look at it like they moved off him while he’s still a top 3-7 WR in the game, though he’s 30yrs old, so they should be getting some value back over time. This draft coming up has some talent at the WR position so I’m not gonna count out Buffalo just yet.

Diggs had a down year last year and still had decent numbers. But he was unhappy there since last off-season, so that played a factor. He didn't really give AF about playing well for Buffalo anymore because he didn't like the coaching staff and he no longer had a good relationship with Josh Allen. He didn't want to be there anymore, which is why the Bills had to trade him for what they did. Diggs is gonna go off with a fresh start and he is surrounded by better wide receivers, while still getting to have a franchise caliber QB throwing the ball to him.
@Rivs51177 ай бұрын
No way Greeney said Allen has done more less than any other QBs 🤣🤣🤣 Mahomeboy literally won a MVP, SB (x2) SBMVP (x2) with the worst WR core combined over the two seasons. They had the most drops and his OL was the most penalized last season.

Likely one of their 1st or 2nd Round picks will be a WR considering you can get legit weapons in the later rounds it's possible for Bills to have an addition by subtraction. It'll definitely see if Josh Allen is a Superstar QB.

Unfortunately for Allen, the Bills are a "maybe" above average team that over-achieves in the regular season. They are not close to the Jim Kelly-led Bills who had a dominant defense. The only way you are going to beat Mahomes is to create a killer D. Diggs was a complainer and this was the right move going forward.
