I live in Toronto and am a big Bills fan , but I will use the Toronto Raptors as an example . They get rid of their franchise player and the coach of the year in 2018 to essentially rent Kawhi Leonard. They were lambasted in the media , but something extreme had to be done . They won the championship in 2019 Diggs pulled this in Minnesota as well He was a distraction and he had to go . Allen and Beane are under the gun . So be it. Mid season Buffalo was cooked , no hope They fired their offensive co-ordinator and went on a run . Diggs was a non factor . They were the one team that gave KC the hardest time . The time has come go get it done !! Let's go Buffalo !!!😊

I think it’s 50/50. There were times Josh blew it. But also once it was the defence and last time round Diggs could have played better. He called Josh out on the bench last year and this year it could have been him shouted at for that drop. I think Bills are better of without. He’s a great receiver but clearly the chemistry has changed, he’s older and both parties will be happier with him gone. Kincaid, Knox and Khalil to step up (yes I’m a Bills fan). More hurt by Poyer gone to be honest. To Miami too.

Arguably for that last Cincinatti game maybe the emotion linked to Hamlin worked in reverse. But otherwise would say yes in big moments other factors have let him down. Lamar has a lot of talent as well, it just wasn’t at receiver until recently. The Bills do not need to draft 2 receivers. They probably will but Shakir is more than adequate to be the 2nd receiver. Samuels will be the 3rd. They also have a very intriguing prospect in Justin Shorter and Mack Hollins will be the 4th. Pair that will our running back, two tight ends and our 1st round draft pick, we'll be fine.

Me personally it had to be done. Stefon didn’t wanna be there and you’re not getting off the franchise that is the QB so 🤷🏽‍♂️. I also look at it like they moved off him while he’s still a top 3-7 WR in the game, though he’s 30yrs old, so they should be getting some value back over time. This draft coming up has some talent at the WR position so I’m not gonna count out Buffalo just yet.

It kills me how there is ANY negativity towards the Bills organization or Josh Allen at all as a result of this trade (other than the fact the Bills got RIPPED OFF with the trade return -- not because the Bills didn't want more, but rather because EVERYONE in the NFL KNEW the Bills were "stuck" and that Diggs had no intention of being a good teammate on the Bills going forward ... so all the potential trading partner teams low-balled the Bills and the Bills ended up taking the "least bad" offer. But all this criticism about the Bills being "MUCH WORSE OFF" after the trade ... NO DUH !!! Do you people honestly think the Bills WANTED to have to trade Diggs ???? Do you think Josh Allen wanted to lose his #1 receiver and "brother?" Lose that talent from the team, have to absorb an insane salary cap hit, and basically give him to another AFC competitor for next to zero return ??? Puh-leeezzze. NO. This trade and itrs timing are ALL Diggs' doing. Diggs made it abundantly clear that he was going to continue to be a toxic, microaggressive malcontent this season if the Bills made him honor his contract and remain in Buffalo. He wouldn't even wait a year so that his dead salary cap hit wasn't so devastating to the Bills and their ability to field a championship contending team. So, just as he had done in Minnesota, Diggs again followed his typical selfish "me-first" "playbook" in Buffalo and FORCED HIS WAY OUT. I'm glad Bart Scott called it like it is: Diggs is a selfish DIVA.

Diggs had a down year last year and still had decent numbers. But he was unhappy there since last off-season, so that played a factor. He didn't really give AF about playing well for Buffalo anymore because he didn't like the coaching staff and he no longer had a good relationship with Josh Allen. He didn't want to be there anymore, which is why the Bills had to trade him for what they did. Diggs is gonna go off with a fresh start and he is surrounded by better wide receivers, while still getting to have a franchise caliber QB throwing the ball to him.
