I’d also suggest you go with a managed portfolio, but even those don’t perform so well, so it’s best you reach out to a proper fiduciary to guide you, that’s what works for my spouse and I. We've made over 80% capital growth minus dividends.

Job growth by government funding to offset the hard-landing caused by higher interest rate to curb inflation, now it's time reverse to lower interest rate and less government funding for job growth, that could lifts the living standard without paying high interest rate.

Government never reduces spending, only increases. Inflation and employment are still sticky. With 1 Trillion in stimulus every 100 days (borrowing) from the feds and accelerating, were at a neutral rate. We don't need fed funds cuts, we need spending cuts. Then interest rates can fall once the government has some fiscal responsibility.
