I think it’s a tough pill to swallow to trade a top three pick for a guy who was drafted in the fourth rnd the year before. Especially, since in my case, it was easily the best team that ended up drafting him last year. another league, ended up trading KW3 for puca and a third during week 4 last year.

I have the 1.01 and the 1.05 in a superflex start 12 TEP league where my QBs are: Hurts, AR, AOC, Minshew, Mac, Mariota. I'm probably taking MHJ over Caleb at the 1.01 because I have 2 elite QBs already + a 3rd starter, but what would you do with the 1.05? Amon ra is just so insulated. Higgins value is overrated in a 3 yr window. Gibbs will be the starting rb for a great offense in 3 years and arsb is the unquestioned wr1 for his team. Quite literally all the other pieces could lose half their value by next off-season. Sometimes gotta over pay to get those guys. I traded a 1st, 2nd, zay, and addison for chase just bc that was the price.

The argument for Puka being overvalued is a pretty simple one: Matt Stafford is elite at creating WR1 fantasy seasons. Sure we all think of Kupp and Megatron, but he also got Golden Tate and Kenny Golladay to WR1 finishes. With Kupp playing more games next year and questions over Stafford’s longevity (already has his ring, history of back/neck issues, also wouldn’t underestimate the power of Kelly and the kids wanting their dad out of harms way), I don’t think Puka is the top tier dynasty asset some see him as. That being said, still a huge fan and would trade the 1.04 for him. Passing up Caleb/Nabers/MHJ is probably too rich though

10 team, 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 2 FLEX. I won my ship and have to drop or trade two of the following for picks: Evans, MPJ, DK, Pickens, Keenan Allen, Mark Andrews, Trey McBride. Having 2 of the top 4 TEs is probably helping me win over teams with actual good young players -- beat a guy with Bijan, Deebo, Puka, Aiyuk, Jon Taylor, London, etc. in the final. I'm thinking give up Pickens and Allen (since he's gone from a possible redraft WR1 ceiling as Herbert's only target to a loaded Bears offense with a rookie QB). What should I try to get for Pickens? Can I get more than a 3rd for Allen? If the Bears get Odunze, I'd lose Keenan for nothing. But Pickens is looking very well set up for success as the only Steeler pass-catcher with a still-great deep ball thrower in Wilson...Evans gonna do his thing, dude has led me to 2 3 ships and I owe it to him to keep him lol, DK is just a beast, and MPJ got paid -- if Ant is as good as Minshew at passing, MPJ was WR8 up until his scary concussion. Tough choice. If I can get the 1.04-1.05 for DK, should I? Probably gonna be Brian Thomas, who is basically the same as DK physically. Obv if I can get Odunze for DK or MPJ-plus, that would work too. Kinda funny that I've won 3 ships despite getting not a single starter from my firsts. Got Josh Allen, Henry, McBride, David Montgomery off waivers (when Allen and Henry were rookies), DK in the 2nd, MPJ for the 1.10 and 2.01, Evans for a first, Andrews in the 2nd. Waddle & Devonta both get similar disrespect. WR2s in their offenses and treated like other WR2s in other offenses lol and good point about the Dolphins crazy high rushing TDs, should see some regression there for sure, which I see going to the passing game. As for Devonta, he’s soooo talented. I think the addition of Saquon makes that offense so dangerous, that you’re going to see Devonta getting open even more. I also have Dalton Kincaid, and people constantly lift their nose at him in trade talks - I also have Trey McBride, so I’ve shopped Kincaid to try and upgrade at RB - and I don’t get it at all lol I’ll gladly keep him. Keeping Tank Dell, who I got at 3.08 in my 1QB, no doubt.

@@ROHDragon36 Tough to determine via trade as it all depends on your league mates and what they value and need. Not sure if you are in a 1QB league or superflex, however, the 2024 draft is deep in WRs. Maybe reach out to the 4-5 weaker teams, and inquire if they have any RBs available for a trade and what they are looking for in a trade. Return Player? If so, what position? Draft picks? Combo of player and draft pick? They may rhyme off some RBs that they are open to trading and what they want. You may find some Rookie WR needing teams interested in that pick for a RB that has better value then you thought they wouldn't consider when you went asking about another RB. Who knows, your RB trade for that 1.09 may balloon in you adding a player or pick for even a better RB still. Key is to get 2-3 players that the other member is open to trading. If they value one more than you do and less of another, act more excited to close for their highly regarded player. Then after a few days, "settle" for the other one. May work for you in your league BTW....some of the rookie RBs wil be there late in the 1st and early 2nd. Maybe trade that late 1st and for a 2024 3rd or 4th and 2025 1st. Draft a rookie RB with your early 2nd if you still have. 2025 draft is big on rookie RBs

Don't think I'd give up Kincaid for less than the 1.04 plus -- need Bowers to replace him in a 2.0 TE premium, or a real TE who won't be a complete zero (like, say, Goedert) and the 1.05 to 1.08 -- Kraft and Fant haven't done anything in years. Higgins may hold out or end up on a crap team, don't understand why people are SO high on him -- not sure I'd trade anything better than a mid-2nd for him.

@@daverice7855 I hear ya, Jayden Reed was a late 2nd but in a 1 QB, that 2.10 might be who, WR14/15 in this class, or RB4/5 depending how many QBs get drafted but it’s a 1 QB start 9 it’s hard to see more than 3 going in that top 20. It’s still a major dart throw no matter how deep the class is, so I’m just saying it wouldn’t sway my decision one way or the other.

If you play Dynasty with a salary cap as I do, normally high caliber rookies are signed for 5 years so veterans like St. Brown and Chase only have 1 to 2 years left on their current contracts before they become free agents and will require significant additional dollars in order to retain them. Therefore in my league it's a tremendous advantage to have a rookie producing significantly versus a veteran who you have limited control over in the near future.

Megatron, Kupp, Puca, Galladay, Marvin Jones, DJ Chark, Etc Stafford gave all these Wrs their best seasons. I dont know how many years Stafford has left but once hes gone i think Puca takes a steep hit. So im not huying into the hype. Hes a dawg forsure though. Stafford has a prestne record of his Wrs getting fed though.
