Excellent video thanks, I prefer to do both by taking the breakout then add or take another trade on the pullback😀

My win rate sucks trying to catch the early turnaround point in pullbacks. What I instead do, is I place a buy or sell limit at the breakout level, in anticipation of the breakout for the trend continuation. No more guessing with pullbacks. A 60% win rate on a 1:1 R:R is more than enough to be profitable.

Today I wanted to watch video about pullback and after video about breakout. I was very impressed that I found this video where you combine these two things together and saved my time. If I could I would press double like below this video

I was told by a number of traders to wait for the pullback and that trading breakouts results in a lower win rate compared to waiting for pullbacks. I have been going through charts and I trade daily and often times waiting for a pull back means lesser trades. I am surprised that you mentioned in your video that pull back trades are riskier.
@victorcadavid57613 ай бұрын
I was confused and surprised too when he said that. Later videos of him seems to correct this. Waiting for the pullback is pretty much the safer version, better winrate and less trades. The inmediate breakout version is way more risky, you can be caught in a fakeout, but gives more trades.

I appreciate this video! I wonder what about supply and demand zones and VSA (volume Spread Analysis) trading? Or at least incorporating volume analysis on the breakout and pull back strategies?
@tommyhawk20002 жыл бұрын
Why would you not play the breakouts and the pullbacks? The strongest moves never pull back so why miss those moves. if the breakout doesn't work then just get out and play the pullback. Thanks for the videos

That's what I do all the time or take profit from the initial breakout. Then get back in on the pull back.

Hi, how are you? I see that you have experience in the market. I have some doubts: 1- What strategy do you use to operate the markets and in what timing (Scalping or intraday mode). 2- Do you have a course, where you explain your strategy in detail? (Ex: Active; Temporality; At what time to operate the market; Indicators; When to enter and when not to enter an operation; Effectiveness of the strategy; etc). From already thank you very much. Greetings!!!

I could swear ive watched one of your videos saying the pullback has a better winrate but less trades. While the breakout gives more trades but more chances to get stoped out due to fakeouts and not so good winrate. Now, i am confused.
@dee23gaming3 ай бұрын
Rather place a limit order at the breakout level in a trend. Pullbacks actually have a very low win rate compared to trend continuation breakouts. I always get faked out with trying to be early in a pullback, but if I wait for a pullback to finish, and actually start pushing, my win rate skyrockets.
@victorcadavid57613 ай бұрын
@@dee23gaming Thanks a lot. So its a matter to wait until the pullback is printed and done to jump in the trade.

personally breakout trading system is more risky/ developes FOMO/ lot of fake breakout and uncertain TP (for new trend witout historical records) compared to pull back trading system which have established base of entry (support) and potential TP (historical resistance) and trading information gathered from past Volume Profile but it is up to individual approaches and edges and ther is no right or wrong, just personal view.

Absolute nonsense...professional price action traders take both trades...there is nothing risky about breakout trades if you can actually define a breakout trade. Uncertain TP? Breakout TP is right there on the chart...Breakout Pullback TP is right there on the chart...if you can read price action. Volume Profile is irrelevant to professional price action traders...you can tell which trading range has the most volume by its price action.
