The President’s Advisory Council on Doing Business in Africa (PAC-DBIA) was established in 2014 to provide information, recommendations, and analysis to the President of the United States, through the U.S. Secretary of Commerce, on strengthening U.S.-Africa commercial engagement. At this meeting of the PAC-DBIA with Deputy Secretary of Commerce Don Graves and other U.S. Government officials, the Council presented and adopted its report of recommendations concerning the re-authorization and modernization of the African Growth and Opportunity Act, also known as AGOA.
