If you eat eggs, you can crush some of the shredded cabbage into a bowl and mix in a couple of raw eggs, chopped green onions, salt, and a little sriracha. Then cook that in a skillet sort of like a pancake. There’s a famous Korean street food dish that adds cheese and makes this into a breakfast sandwich with mayonnaise, but I can eat it without the bread (although cheese is good mixed in, too). And, of course, it’s a basic riff on Japanese okonomiyaki. Another way to make breakfast more nutritious and filling.

Take the shredded cabbage and shredded carrots and cook it down add ginger and celery salt and soy sauce with sesame oil and wrap in won ton wraps for homemade egg rolls then toss in the air fryer. The best. !

I agree about the chocolate covered honeycomb. It's amazing. It's my go-to treat when another favorite, the butter toffee pretzels (which come and go during the holiday season), disappear.

I wouldn’t take the time to do it, but there’s an appetizer where you core out a small tomato, like a cherry tomato, and put cheese in it. It can either be served cold or set under the broiler to get a little toasty. I bet the whipped feta would be good in that. Or, maybe just toasted on a bagel with a slice of tomato? Maybe even add a little salmon?

Oh, and shrimp saganaki is a Greek dish that’s shrimp baked with feta and tomato. That’d probably be great too

A couple of months ago, my TJ's had lion's mane mushrooms. They were so tiny, I didn't even recognize them! You're better off buying a kit and growing them yourself. You'll get good sized ones that way. It's what I do.

The potato chips are like the patio chips with different flavours in one bag. There are three kinds of “pizza” in the bag, cheese, tomato and pepperoni (if I remember correctly). You could try choosing one of the cheese ones to taste :)

A new item which is really tasty are the Portuguese donuts in the frozen breakfast/dessert section. They a have layer of chocolate inside, and you just let them thaw for an hour. Not gluten-free, however. The whipped feta made me remember a TJ's item I STILL miss--the feta salad dressing. So good!

I am always a little disappointed with “pizza” flavored chips. I don’t like the nutritional yeast flavor that you get for simulated crust and cheese and the sauce flavor is not as strong as I want. Back several decades, there used to be a company called Charles’ chips and they had delivery drivers that drove around in vans and made rounds to all the businesses so the workers could order and then they’d deliver your order the next trip . They sold some candies, but their main things were potato chips. You could buy a brown speckled canister and then get refills. I ❤️ their ketchup flavored chips but the plain were also good. They were thin and crispy and didn’t threaten to break your teeth like most potato chips nowadays. That’s what I want Trader Joe’s chips to taste like. 😀. I have heard that ketchup chips are available in Canada but that doesn’t do me any good. 😀. And I know the patio chips blend has ketchup but the chips are too thick and hard.
