@@Goldguru06 it's about the long term. skilled traders lose money all the time but in the long term they make money because of actual skill, risk management and consistency. gamblers can make a lot of money but it's unsustainable and it usually takes multiple losses before a big flip. it's not a long term strategy and it's for when you have money to waste. hence why a lot of these flippers have to sell courses and signals because that's really the main way they consistently make a lot of money

@@rikkie4244 Good risk management is implementing a calculated statistical advantage that minimising losses and maximises profits. The statistical advantage of a risking 1% of your account balance to make 2/3% profits means that overtime your capital gains & profits are going to outpace your losses. Your risk management is built around your strategy, learn how to trade it inside and out, to perfection, then you use good risk management to profit off the strategy. If the trade goes against me, very simple. I just traded in the opposite direction with slightly bigger lot size. And let both trades run until they hit SL and TP. Now I know this hedging is NOT a perfect strategy and you and others reading this may not agree. But at this point, I was no longer thinking of making profits. Rather to recover some of my capital. Warren Buffet laid down 2 rules even though he is NOT into Forex trading but still applies to all investments. 1. Never lose money, 2. Always remember rule No. 1.
