You're referring to classic support and resistance, not supply and demand zones. A supply zone can appear once to be significant. The Price moves away from it (down) quickly and steeply. A demand zone is where a price moves up from quickly and steeply. They often align with classic support and resistance but are much more significant.

Agree. This is not supply and demand, demand zones tend to have a base than a big bullish candle to confirm, and you also should use only a fresh level to determine a demand zone. And if there has been multiple entries on that demand zone, well then it’s actually not good.. because then the imbalance will decrease and it could be less demand in that zone.

supply and demand zones do not change to the other once crossed. A supply zone does not become a demand zone. Perhaps you meant to say support and resistance which in your case is correct.

The further back you can look the better you can make decisions. Also beware of the trend direction and fresh zones. The more the market hits the same level of demand, the less power it has.

Hi Nick, appreciate the effort but if I am looking at this chart I think the supply zone starts from the doji candle upper left corner and your demand zones are the wicks at the bottom. It's because the ones you have pointed out in the rectangle are actually resistance zones and not supply zones, as you can see the resistance was broken on the right by a bullish engulfing candle. Still a fan thought but might be best to update the tile.

The last candle(4.30 pm) of the day is showing green colour in the time frame of 1, 3, 30 45 min & also in 1, 2, 3, 4 hr period. But this last candle is showing red colour in others time frame. Buy the dip sell the rip only works (for the most part) when a market is consolidated like that and either getting ready to break out or reverse. Buy the dip sell the rip doesn't work well in a trending market. Buy it while it's dropping and more often than not you'll get run over.
