OMG Thank you bro ive been trying my absolute best to fathom & comprehend the physics & dynamics involved with trading options, obviously this is not public knowledge thats easy to acces & understand yet thats where alot of $$ can be made. I thank you, you actually explain the pros & cons fairly well with Options for this is no child's play you can either get wealthy or go broke doing this & I need to understand all posibilities & outcomes before I place my money on the line. Much appreciated Mr.Evdakov 👍👍

Sasha, on buying a call how much does one lose under vs what one loses on selling a put, thanks. Great video, just doesn't discusses losses
@tradersflyofficial4 жыл бұрын
It depends on a lot of factors. For example how you manage the position, what strike prices you go with, and more

Sasha Evdakov: Tradersfly Yes thanks. Seen you can Sell A Put and buy some downside insurance with a Buy Put too. Just getting into this

Sasha - if you sell a put and it goes WAY below your strike price, then comes back up (but still sits below), it is negative decay. Say the buyer isn't exercising early and there's a week left where it's hovering +/- $2. Say on expiry day, it is +$0.50 above your strike price, is the decay still lower than your premium paid whereby you can close at profit, or will you be at a loss?

Great video, very well explained. Appreciate you putting it together. What happens if I sell a put, collect the premium, the stock keeps going up, and I then buy the put back before expiration? Do I get to keep the entire premium AND the gains from the stock having moved up? Thanks!

@@tradersflyofficial selling puts vertical is better for longer term of trading right? Since it covers your back. What about 1-3hour of intraday, would it be a good idea to sell puts of aapl for an instance
@tradersflyofficial4 жыл бұрын
It requires less capital but slower theta. Not that onr is better. Just trade offs.
@tamaraviso7774 жыл бұрын
Also for selling call/buying put: that you think stock will go down, but why at the option trading there are prices higher than strike price? For example: Macy stock now at $5.02, if I think it will go down I’ll buy put, then in the put there are 11$-1$. What does it mean? Same thing with the other options. Thank you

There are different strikes in a different strikes you have different levels of control. I would definitely recommend you look at the game start at page on our website at tradersfly.com

Why do you lose money if the stock stays still for calls, and how come u make money when it stays still for puts
@tradersflyofficial3 жыл бұрын
If you are a buyer I'll call or put you still lose money from the theta decay. You don't make money from a put if the stock stands still if you are a buyer of a put. Anytime you are a purchaser of options they decay and you lose money from that decay

So Sasha....why would anyone with any brain...no offense..."Buy a Call/Go Long, THIS WAY. .when the odds drastically favors... Selling a Put sir?. Is it just shear naivety?
