Pertenece al archivo documental de Comarca. Concretamente es un reportaje extraído de la colección TRADICIONES Y COSTUMBRES DEL BAJO ARAGÓN CASPE, dirigidos por Eugenio Monesma en 2007.
Tradicionalmente el boj ha sido trabajado y modelado para hacer distintos utensilios de cocina. Los pastores del Pirineo han sido expertos en el trabajo del boj y gracias a la trashumancia su conocimiento se ha extendido por otras zonas aragonesas. En la localidad bajoaragonesa de Maella, Marcelino Monreal va a poner en práctica la técnica aprendida de los pastores en la elaboración de una cuchara de madera de haya.
