So much of this resonated with me. I used to be one of those bozos who held a position forever with no stop loss. After blowing an account that way, I became of of the "Way too tight of stop loss" crowd- it got bad enough that I had a visceral reaction to losing as little as 0.1% of my account on a trade. Anyone can learn TA, few can tame their instincts.

One of the issues I ran in this week! Started getting better and up in profits on 5 trades, being all excited and not taking profits before going to sleep only to wake up being stopped out on all of them. Rule 1: always justify your trade, build up a case like a lawyer, find evidence by looking at what the market is showing you, not what you want to see. Rule 2:A strategy without a stoploss is not a strategy. Advice: The best strategy is risk management. with this you will be a successful trader

Been watching previous videos so far, and studying day trading and markets since January this year.. have spend the first 3-5 months (until May really) just studying trading psychology, because from my analysis (not just of the market, but from any human endaevour), I realized emotions must be the number one reason people fail; and not a lack of knowledge, intelligence or skills in discernment and strategy (first and foremost). I started trading 4y ago. Learned all these mistakes the hard way. Watching this because this past week I hit all my parameters to be funded: PT hit, number of days hit, consistency hit. Excited and logged off. Forgot somehow to cancel all orders. Made $25,000 the next day on two NQ cons but didn’t get home until after close and my eval was DQ’ed. Trying to get over this as frustrating as it is but been doing it long enough to recognize I’m frustrated so I won’t be trading for awhile to reset my 🧠 getting tf away from charts until these emotions subside

two i things I'd like to add to over trading. 1. Don't trade on tilt. you should only be trading when the trade or settup meets your criteria. 2. Defining a daily loss limit to prevent yourself from going tilt.

I’m trading everyday for half a year now and getting more and more profitable right now… but I remember this excact scenario that you described blowing 40% of my account lol… I was some weeks in and made some small profits and thought trading with more money would be more fun… than I started this excact no strategy scalp going short and blew up directly, more than 10% loss in seconds… I thought it comes back down it comes down, and after reaching 40% I excited and it was good decision because it wouldn’t come down for a few month lol… that’s where I took a step back and told myself ima trade with a small account until I’m profitable and know how to trade… great video man, love your channel arty!!!

Rule No. 1: Rules Based Trading. Minimum of 3 Confluences. You have to trade based on rules! Science! It’s not emotional, it’s strategic! Rule No. 2: Do not trade on emotions, that’s gambling mentality! Rule No. 3: Have a Proper Risk Management. Never ever click that buy or sell button without TP and SL. Rule No. 4: Do not overtrade! Ohh you give me a great idea for Rule N°4. Having 3 instrumets for plan A, 3 for plan B and 3 for plan C. If plan A it´s ok, you go for them, without looking the rest, if not because there to flat or so, you go for the B, and so on
