Amount of leverage doesn't matter Pranab, it depends on what you are risking per trade that will determine how much leverage u need, not the other way around.

Of course but that doesn't mean you're better off risking a higher percentage of your account as you will have drawdowns of which you will have to deal with physiologically and be sure not to let the drawdowns blow your account.

LOL, i think trading is just like tossing a coin, we all have 50% win rate because this video show that a trading system sometimes not work in the market and the win rate when we have a good system is always 50% because the market just go up and down like tossing a coin. Therefore, we can just trade with no trading system but trade in a long run will make us more benefit, because our reward/risk >1

The fallacy with the turtle method is that there is an assumption the strategy edge still exists and markets do not evolve. I wouldn’t be surprised if eckhart and the other turtles that still trade have developed new strategies to create those kinds of returns year after year. I guess we’ll find out 20 years from now what strategy is being used in 2018 and of course we will still have those that think there is still an edge.

Dunn speculates on trends. High frequency trading just happens in a fraction of a second. Dunn looks for trends by a mathematical formula, buys in and adds to the position when the trend strengthens. Their holding period is much longer than a fraction of a second.
