Trading Secrets of the Mind: Master the Emotional Side of Trading. PLEASE LIKE AND SHARE THIS VIDEO SO WE CAN DO MORE! Francis Hunt, stock market trader and educator comments. You mentioned mindset and mentality as a key area of development for you recently, what are your primary learning’s in this space, since we last spoke to you? You mention, Biology/Physicality and emotion are in all thought, weren’t we told, that trading and all aspects are a mental game? You mentioned most traders respond out of Flight & Fight Response, How do we recognize Fight/Flight response in ourselves if trying to be aware of it? How do we ‘stop the bleeding’ in the instance of being invoked into a Flight & Fight state as you described?

He's so right. I often look back on my trades and think how the hell did I chase that market. It was clearly an emotional trade.

This is the starting quote on my trading plan: “Do not repeat the tactics which have gained you one victory, but let your methods be regulated by the infinite variety of circumstances.” - Sun Tzu from The Art of War. Thought it fits nicely.

The trader psychologist he is talking about is Rande Howell. And yes, Rande's information is an incredible contribution to what one needs to understand to be a successful trader. Rande Howell & Mark Douglas will pretty much get your mind & expectations in the right focus to become a consistently profitable, and (hopefully) low-stress trader.

Thank you for this video. I was going through an emotional bout with myself this morning at London open and it had draw down then it went into profit. I wanted to stay in because I knew it was going to go up a whole lot more but as it kept fluctuating I was getting scared so I got out. The next candle formed and it went up exactly as I thought it would. I was so sick. Next time I will recognize flight or fight, breath and be logical and trust my analysis

Well explained, I've just opened binary options account not to make money but to take cheap trades to specifically take me to anxiety (fight or flight) so i can become aware of my behaviour under stress and work at calming my mind through breathing. After a few breaths i can start to reassess my trade and behaviour. I've come to the realisation that all my emotions i experience from thoughts during the trade are all bullshit because they have nothing to do with the random outcome of my high probability setup, so i just keep breathing whilst being mindful.

My trades always right but I have less confidence to hold that trade and turn because of market fear 😨 I need to work on my emotional side. God give me strength 😮

- The definition of discipline is the state of mind nd control you retain in the high pressure moment. Your degree nd ability to perform rationally in the highest stress moment is the degree of your own personal self-awareness nd the true trading discipline - Francis Hunt

All the losses I have had trading were products of emotion, greed and random choices (indiscipline). To think that I watched a trade in profit return to loss and blew my account is the craziest and most stupid thing I have watched myself do. Sold my car just to return to trading and here I am without the money. It's sad

Insightful video. I just want to know best how people split their pay, how much of it goes into savings, spendings or investments. I'm 27, and earn nothing less $150k per year, but nothing to show for it yet.

Your advice is gold. Conditioning is the key to be a successful athlete and same apply for a trader. We love to see your matured approach rather than some KZbinrs those who offer their magic formula for $19.99. Trading is not a 100 meter race, it is a 50,000 mile marathon. More airmiles make a better pilot. Thanks for your inspiration.
