This is my area of Denver that I hunt in and yes the targets and Walmarts are not stocked at all. In this same area there are a lot of king Soopers “aka Krogers” in this area as well. I know for a fact they’re are two of them in the area u are staying as from the view of your skyline u showed in the beginning.

I decided to go for a little hunt early yesterday. Both Targets were empty shelves. Wal-Mart was a hot mess (as usual) but the pegs were loaded with a whole lot of nothing + no premiums. We have a place called House of Cars about an hour east of where I live. Always wanted to visit. Definitely along the same lines as Colorado Die-Cast. That's a very dangerous store. Best to go there at the beginning of the month $$$ Glad to see they'll make trades and it's not just on the business card. Some people say it and often people don't do it.

I went to that store! It's very clean and organized. They pretty much have everything you might be looking for. I did a trade there too. Didn't meet the owner but wish I could have. Wasn't to fond of the other guy I dealt with kinda felt like I was ripped off there on my trade. Other than that a great store!

@@accdentprone6131 You really can't compare supers to supers since they are all different. A 510 wagon, 55 Gasser, or a Kombi can't be considered "equal" to lets say a Greenwood Corvette, or a Jaguar. And you can't expect a collector to give up a super that goes for $200 or more in trade 1 for 1 for a super that goes for around $25. That's just the reality of the hobby. An Auto World Ultra Red costs the saw as a Raw at the store, but there's not a person on the planet that would trade their raw for a red. Just how it is.

@Vladimir Blarp no there is a difference all together. There are people that are scalpers and charge an arm and a leg for something. A true collector isn't going to care about the value of a car if they are wanting to help another true collector out. I don't do this to make money I do this cuz I like to and to help others out that need something. But I understand what you are getting at

@@accdentprone6131 it's not just "to make money". Whether some like it or not, the fact is that this hobby NEEDS to have those pricey cars and higher end pieces. If all diecast cars stayed at original shelf price value forever the hobby would be long gone already, it would be unsustainable. All collectors want valuable cars in their collections, and they like knowing that something they bought for low has appreciated in value. The market sets the prices, not the sellers. You may say now that you don't care about values when trading, but I will guarantee that you wouldn't trade away a 1995 TH 67 Camaro for example for a 2022 super TH, even though "both cars cost a dollar"

Its rough in denver lately, i drive down 2 hours from the mountains every other week to spend a day hunting and last 3 times the pegs are mostly empty at walmarts and targets. Hope you made it to some safeways and king soopers, they seem to be a bit better stocked with cars.
