No Sir. Here, he made a big mistake on avoiding 50 level in RSI. As per my experience, 50 level is much more important. If the RSI line is passing upside from down towards upside crossing 50, you can aim for Buy position, if green candle formed abv 9ema. It is opposite for creating Sell position. While market moves in sidewards, RSI line is staying abv 50, moving sidewards then it is confirming that market may give a Break Out momentum shortly. While market moves in side, RSI line is staying below 50 level, just moving sidewards, then, it is showing indication that, market may Break Down shortly. I stopped using RSI as it is really boring and makes me to afraid to take a trade. I found Relative Vigor Index , which is quite nice. There is a cross over signal line in it to confirm the trend and the direction is also clear. If market is moving downside , if few green candles are formed, RSI will point it downwards, But RVI lines stays stronger towards uptrend unless, 3rd or 4th candle with strong volume is formed on the Price Chart. Use it ! Watch it ! Like it ! I am using it, learned it, making small profits with 2 trades in a day. Never try to take a trade after 2.15pm. I use MIS, 3.20pm is my cut off time. So, I don't take a trade after 2.10/2.15pm.

Yes, I use 9 ema + RVI (Relative Vigor Index) + ADX supporting Indicator for Intraday. I am not happy with RSI as it always turn its pointer as soon as a single red candle formed on price chart. RVI is much reliable and stays showing the momentum on which side. Time frame - 3mins. Why so? If you use 5mins TF on chart, You get to see few candles only. If you use 3mins, you can see more candle formation, on which you can draw trend line and confirm whether price is following the trend line.
