I agree 100% with you. Rejection of higher or lower prices is the way to look at the markets to get trading oppertunities, I do however like it when a pinbar forms on the daily chart, with the tend and from a level of importance, even better if after a slight pullback. There's a great value for me personally if the rejection comes quickly. Rather than after a few days, because after a few days we might find ourselves in consolidation. But great video! You clearly understand price action.

AT 10:11 you said one of the most important things I've come to realize. Yes there is support and resistance, candlesticks and all, those are nothing but tools. We need to interpret price movement instead of watching specific levels and waiting for candlestick patterns as confirmation. Sometimes the pin bar is not as prevalent at these areas. What then?

Hey Rayner, the Pin Bar Short @ 3:20 worked nicely and worked well for if a person were trading only that TF. My point here is that higher and lower TF's are often irrelevant based on the fact a trader trades the chart in front of them and just because a higher TF may denote an up trend the market moves up and down continuously on a lower TF unless at periods of a very strong impulsive directional moves. If HTF analysis is so important why do we trade short TF charts? In fact lower TF offer far more trades and as markets are fractal the ONLY difference between a low and higher TF's will be the frequency and speed of each trade as well as the number of PIPs or Ticks moved and even though less each trade can be offset with smaller risk and a larger position size while still controlling risk. I am Trader not a Teacher but if I were I would put emphasis on higher TF's for those with large accounts as not small. Would love to hear your comments on this Rayner. BTW I do like your passion in your videos.....

10:20 I like your advice on this but I think you need to point out to these people that if you go up a time frame this would most likely have formed a pinbar. The same with the others. Otherwise, excellent video!
@jakedecrem23866 жыл бұрын
What I find seems to work is I have done research on pinbar time frames if you want to "Day Trade" 30 minute pinbars are the best with combined S/R AKA Very important "The Quarters Theory" study it very important. And Divergence I just done a 22day back test with GBP/JPY and I got 2 Wins and 7 Break evens 0 losses if I went for a 1-1 I would of won them all or if I went for a Risk 1 to make 2 soon as I hit 1-1 I set to break even when it gets to 1-2-3 I take it immediately and would increase my wins and reduce break evens. But I made an error I forgot to also note time at which they formed and I'm going to back test it over 6 months to see total results, PS 1-3 targets will give you more break evens 1-1 1-2 seems to happen more often well 7 out of 9 times more often so far but it must touch the Quarter Point or just below and you need Divergence on MACD otherwise nothing meets critiera and the pinbar lower wick has to be 3times bigger then the body of the candle and nose. I have to back test 2 more FOREX high volatility pairs for 6 months each, will take me quarter of a day to test each one about 6 hours nonstop before I can get results I'm looking for. I'm going to do a few more tests with the same set up but without Quarters Theory of S/R but everything els still stands until I get shit results. Then back to the drawing board which I'm afraid of I'm running out of time and I have been through enough stuff I don't need more I mite have a passion but I'm running out of options its hard being self taught and then starting over 5 months ago just after the new year because the past 3 years I learnt dog shit. So had to adapt and study harder then ever before at least 10 hours a day on the computer.

I really liked this lesson very much. I am new to trading and the things you talked about here are the things I have been realizing by trial and error. This video clarifies what I have been struggling with like trading up trends only to never achieve a decent profit or no profit at all, At first I was losings most of the time and now I break even most of the time so I am very eager to start making consistent profits so I can go live. Thanks for making these videos:)) I Subbed and will watch all of your videos also any other new stuff you upload:))

I've always thought about this for a long time already and I haven't found an abundant answer. Why are there so much free stuffs like tutorials, lessons, tips, and even seminars for FX trading? Isn't FX trading a form of zero-sum game which you earn from the loss of others? I'm not implying that maybe Rayner or some traders out there are scammers or liars. It's just that, isn't it good for a traders (although it sounds bad) to teach others bad tips and strategies so that their viewers would lose and they would profit from it? Your insights on this are very appreciated. P.S. I know for sure Rayner is a legit, non-BS guru because I've learned and profited much from his lessons.
