Always fun to watch your videos. Have you done one at any time that explains how you approach finding the pigs? I realize you have hunted this area for some time, but if you were new to pig hunting, how would you approach it? What kind of habitat do you look for? Water? Thickness? Acorns? Rooting? Where do they like to bed, etc. Again, great videos!!!

I cover ground looking for fresh sign. Wet edges in thicker cover usually work out. Depending on acorn crop I will hit acorn flats late season when it's kinda cold. Always walking and banking info.

Love my old Bear TD’s but mine are the original Mag risers. Just plain shoot great for me. Is yours a B riser? Prefer my A risers but do have one B riser.

B riser I think. It is the long riser with short limbs 60" bow.

Well done! I envy you living down there. I have made 4 trips south to bow hunt pigs this year. I had opportunities on 3 of the 4 hunts and killed a nice pig. Hopefully next year I will be down there for a couple weeks of hog hunting. Until then I keep living vicariously thru your videos! Keep them coming!

So are Persimmon trees dark bark like you focused on? You said it was a large one but it seemed very small compared to all the other trees.

Persimmons are dark bark and usually don't get real big. There are some light pole size ones in the swamp.

You need to get the testicle and glands out right away, and the meat will be better. Don't touch skin then meat
