@@EastMesaUrbanHomestead Have you ever went out there for Luke Days? Its a big air show and they open up the base. A lot of people just park in and around there to watch the show. This past spring the Navy's "Blue Angels" did the show, ahmeezing. My husband's family lives by Luke AFB, so in their yard its like they were diving down and back up just feet from your face!!
@EastMesaUrbanHomestead5 жыл бұрын
No we have never been there to that, however I have been to the Mira Mar base in California and have seen the blue angels there several times they are awesome.

Could an aluminum pot work also? It's hard to find a copper pot🧐
@EastMesaUrbanHomestead4 жыл бұрын
Yes really any kind of pot will work, coppers properties just make for even heat distribution. I’ve made them on a stove top before as well! Good luck and I hope yours turn out great 😎

Do you reuse the Oil? Best way to discard Oil? Many thx
@EastMesaUrbanHomestead4 жыл бұрын
No typically don’t reuse the oil (lard) some people use it for re fried beans they will strain it and let it turn back into a solid. It will just go into the regular trash unless you have a place that re cycles oil. Thanks for stopping by the channel 😎

How high do you have the heat?
@WhatWeDoChannel5 жыл бұрын
That’s really great. I love the cooking equipment! I bet that tastes really amazing! Zikes, I would have to use a different oil because too much lard gives me wretched acid reflux! I imagine pork shoulder (but) would work really well too, or maybe even a leaner cut? I think that’s almost similar to a duck confit. Klaus
@EastMesaUrbanHomestead5 жыл бұрын
Hey Klaus, yeah you could use oil but it would for sure not taste the same! And I and not familiar with duck confit. Hanks as always for stopping by the channel 😎

Wish I could find a copper pot like yours, and for a decent price! Everything here (where I’m from) is outrageously priced....👎🏼 Our Mexican grocery stores only sell stainless steel disc’s. (So that’s what I have).... How do you regulate your temperature when cooking on your propane burner. Mine is basically a “turkey fryer”, with the Heavy Duty Stainless Steel Concave Comal Discada, instead of the copper pot.
