It's not cheesy at all. It stirs my emotions too and in fact brings me to tears. I'm a guy by the way, who doesn't often cry, but this music makes me do so. I think I lived in Ireland in a past life. I went there last, flying from Brussels to Dublin and upon descening through the clouds over Wales, with the emeral Isle before us, I had a very strong sense I was coming home.

In November 2017 I went on a short tour of Ireland with my mother; it was a long-cherished dream of ours that we have fulfilled 🙂 Unfortunately it was only a full 5 days, but we saw a lot, starting from Dublin around the island and back to Dublin 😆👍 My favorite experience was actually standing on top of the Cliffs of Moher! 😍 But I still haven't seen enough of Ireland and I hope I get to see it again! 🇮🇪 As for traditional Irish/Celtic music, I've been a big fan of it for a very long time, I just love it ❤

I'm not Irish---won't say what my various ancestors were, but one of them, at least, was a notorious liar, and a con man, among other things---but I find Ireland and Scotland to be seriously beautiful countries. I hate traveling, but those would be the two countries I'd happily go to if I was ever going to leave America for a short time. If those castles could speak, I wonder what they would say. I was stationed on the Yorkshire Moores between Harrogate and Skipton. I bought a 1934 Austin Touring Car. Many of the men I worked with fell in love with the English girls around there. We would take them to their weddings in my 1934 Austin Ten Touring Car. Those were good days. They treated us Americans like kings. They all wanted to try to live in America. They were a long way from their homes. So different there than the U.S.A. I think they would miss their moms too much.
