Yes, the 5x7 a and b matting dies were my very first dies I purchased! I think spellbinders paved the way and we should thank them for it! Beautiful card I love making 5x7 cards!

Erin, do you mind explaining to me how you make 5x7 cards OR do you purchase blank 5x7 notecards? I am from Canada and 5x7 cards are the standard here. Although I understand the efficiency of making A2-sized cards, I've never been able to get over how odd the size looks to me...I know, weird eh! Appreciate your help Erin....happy crafting.

+Nancy Lynn hi Nancy, I have to agree with you that personally the size of A2 cards are hard for me because 1. The size which is really not that big of deal but the 5x7 or different sized cards seem to get the creativity out better and with less clutter when I suffer from not knowing when to finish. I'm not sure I understand you correctly but I think you're curious on how I make a 5x7 folding card? There are two ways I do this; 1. I buy 11x14 cardstock to help with efficiency. And 2. Tape two pieces of base weight cardstock together, Kristina Werner does this fairly often as she and I like different sized cards instead of the standard A2 all the time. I will comment with the link to Kristina's video where she adheres two pieces together. If this answered it or isn't what you were asking let me know, it's late where I live and the chances of me misunderstanding or misreading are higher at this time of night lol. I will comment below withthe Link to Kristina's video in just a minute.:)

The visual explanation for making a 5x7 with two pieces for the card base is at the 7:15 mark. Hope this and the above comment answers your question. Take care!

What a stunning card! It's very festive. I have been eyeing the rectangle dies for some time now. I think I will go ahead and buy 'em.

How did she create the red backing with the words? Was that an embossing folder?

What a gorgeous card, lots of beautiful die cut elements and that bow is a wonderful touch, though I'm not sure how I'd send it through the mail. I was wondering if you could tell me what kind of tape runner you use, it looks like it runs smoothly and isn't as bulky as some of the ATG tape runners which lately seem too big for my hands when I am card making.

thank you! My Sweet Petunia has boxes for dimensional cards to mail them (they have A2, not sure about bigger cards). The tape runner I used is from Scrapbook Adhesives, its this one - goo.gl/D4Vz92
