The beautifully crafted and intricately designed African regalia that you see worn by Ghanaians is hand woven in and by Ghanaians. I find it interesting, the craftsmanship and creativity displayed in making these dresses and even more fascinating, the pride of the people wearing these clothes. You could invest in this sector of the Ghanaian economy and make millions. Take a look

The government can help organise them into cooperative society business and provide decent workplace for those involved in the value chain. Such a hub will help in production, training, innovation and for easy access to the products by the customers

Capitalism has taking over Africa, government has less interest on empowering it citizens, it's survival of the fittest that's what democracy is all about, government will only make the environment conducive for investment.

@@watchingthehawks355 It's in the interest of the government to get the producers better organized. Quantity and quality of materials produced will increase, more revenue to them, and more taxes to the government. Employment generation and higher living standards for the local community. It's a win win situation.

Everything is not the government, we as a people can make things happen am not a fan of any government so forgive me if am not expressing the same view as you are, every big thing starts small. If the government comes in to help so be it, if not you keep moving forward with what you do.

@@TWUMKWAME5 I didn't suggest or implied government throwing money 💰 at them. You can see that many of them to there level of education or entrepreneurial awareness to put it better may not be high. They did mention of the skills and trade being passed to them from generation to the other. So economies of scale and modernization of the trade will likely not be a priority. Government agency in the ministry of trade and investment can "facilitate" such engagement and awareness, create easier method of them registering their business as an SME or co-operative, possible building a facility/hub they could rent at a reasonable amount, with function electricity etc. Doing the business under a tree 🌲in this age is not the best you will agree with me.

Virtue, since you are in Tamale, stop in Kumasi in Ashanti Region, in town called Bonwere/Bonwire and observe how the Kente is woven, though the same concept but worth learning as well.
