Reeves Peach Farm in Hartselle, AL. June-Aug fresh peaches right off the trees. Before that in Spring, amazing tasty variety of strawberries with flavor you won't get in a store. They also have pretty good BBQ, and homemade ice cream. Have an appetite, get a BBQ baked potato: Rattle Snake Saloon in Seven Springs, AL

We've lived all over the country with the military and others jobs and South Alabama is our favorite! So much history and of course the beach and no snow!! Shout out to Spanish Fort, Alabama!!

Don't assume your seafood is local. Many restaurants get their seafood frozen from the Sysco truck,....which supplies most establishments with the exact same thing. I am not picking on Alabama,...as here in Maryland, most of our famous crabs are from Texas or North Carolina,....and crabmeat is from Venezuela.
