I must admit…I’ve been very interested in Indian culture for some time now. So much truth in your ancient scripts! And the stepwells and the Meenakshi temple for instance are insanely beautiful. It must be nice coming from a culture that cares to make things meaningful. So interesting how so many different can be conveyed at once. And, take this as you will, but…as someone who used to do a lot of LSD….its all prettttttty trippy as well (a good thing, I promise!) Anyway. Namaste from the US.

An interesting fact: Namaste is a very popular Hindi phrase, but in my language, coincidentally, we have exactly the same phrase, which there means "Here we are". So, namaste (να' μαστε) and namaste (नमस्ते). Here we are and welcome!
@missphysicist24133 жыл бұрын
Indo-European connection, Sanskrit and Ancient Greek are sister languages
@kyanos-asteras3 жыл бұрын
@@missphysicist2413 I know that. Our languages come from the Proto-Indo-European one, but these two phrases do not actually come from the same root. Hindi namaste comes from Sanskrit námas+te, which means "bowing+you", whereas Greek namaste comes from "na+eimaste", which means "to (here)+we are". This one is a coincidence. A most interesting coincidence though. 😋

since I have started learning more and more about hindu culture I have felt a strange connection I never have before. I wonder if it is just an interest or a supernatural sign. Since I've been meditating and trying to speak to Brahma I have felt more at peace with myself and who I am. this music is also really soothing to listen to.
