Today is traditional Tet (traditional holiday of my hometown), I returned to my family and relatives to make traditional cakes and help my family clean up to prepare for the holiday. This is my hometown's traditional New Year's holiday, everyone puts aside all their work to prepare for the holiday after a year of hard work.

Je poursuis ici : tu as offert des cadeaux aux enfants et tu as mangé avec ton papa (ou un oncle) puis tu as offert au voisinage (ou famille proche) cadeaux et des Banh Chung comme le veut la tradition. Tu as tout amené pour la circonstance et tout préparé seule ces cakes appétissants. 2024, le 10 février devient donc l'année du Dragon (comme ta petite île). L' absence de décorations traditionnelles à dominante rouge me laisse à penser que je ne dois pas me tromper beaucoup hélas. Malgré tout je tiens à te souhaiter la bonne année vietnamienne : "Chúc mừng năm mới" et t'offrir un sourire 🙂 pour cette belle vidéo..

J'ai regardé 2 fois la vidéo et j'ai laissé passer quelques heures avant de la revoir, le temps de bien comprendre ces événements qui m'ont touché. J'ai en effet ressenti comme une atmosphère un peu triste, une absence. Tu es très discrète avec beaucoup de retenue, toutefois s'agissant de circonstances difficiles, je suppose le décès (ou le départ) de l'âme du foyer. Difficile à formuler car le premier jour du Têt est réservé au père. J'ai vu que tes 2 chiens t'ont accompagné, que c'est toi qui as invité les 3 fillettes et le garçonnet à entrer,, que ce sont peut-être tes sœurs et ton frère, à moins que ce ne soit neveu et nièces. Je t'ai vu préparer avec grand soin les Banh Chung de forme carrée composée de riz aromatisé et coloré en vert, du porc gras avec des épices et de la polenta de maïs (ou ?) enrobés dans du lá dong.
