all the recipes of Barmbrak i have watched so fare says "Mixed Spice"... ok for those of us not living in Ireland. WHAT spices are that and how much of each?

Hi, Would just like,your take on what l heard,that the hot tea added,plumps up the fruit too much,hence l was told to use cold tea soaking overnight???. Would love to know what you think.Thank you👍👏

Hi Patricia, you can do either. If using cold tea it would be best to steep overnight by using hot tea you just add and allow to cool. I have found very little difference between the two methods

Yes, that is exactly right. This is the Irish version and Irish name for it.
