My wife is of Jewish descent and make it with leftover corn beef, cabbage and potatoes. It is great.

My ex used to make colcannon, but he boiled the cabbage in with the potatoes so they end up mushy. This looks way better.

@@theworldsfood yes basically. The only thing most Irish people put in there spuds is milk an butter.
