This was soo creative and beautiful! For a moment I couldnt help thinking, as a mother where do I find my daughter once she offs to the desert with these guys who by all means could be having camels behind these tents😁! In my youth I attended a couple of ceremonies in various parts of Luoland and its so nice seeing 'Nyombo' being an all inclusive celebration at the brides home and not tense and restrictive especially to the grooms people. God's blessing to the bride and groom.

cooking in the back of the house in this video, reminds of Nigeria where all the elders, uncles wives, brides to be's will come to cook for any type of ceremony in the family. Thanks for sharing.

Why do the grooms wear Arabian attire?
@JamAKenyanAdventures3 жыл бұрын
When asked, they said they wanted to look fashionable 😁 It’s not their traditional wear, just experimenting with fashion & culture.

That’s always my question to Kenyans why they often wear European clothes

It's shameful ....He will pay a big fine or go back without a wife😅😅

I asked the same question 😅 I was told he’d have to go back home without a wife. It really would be a shame.

What is the part that makes them actually married? Is it after the negotiations and the dowry is decided?
@JamAKenyanAdventures5 ай бұрын
I believe it’s after the entire ceremony is finished. When the families have interacted, accepted each other & have given their blessings.

Why are they dress like Arabs (middle easterners). We have our own culture & attire. Magi tango

That was surprising. I am curious about this. Why are the men wearing that attire? Is this a Kenyan tradition too?
