Traditional Lunch at legendary Bouillon Pigalle in PARIS. 🇫🇷

BOUILLON PIGALLE
In the 1800s, large soup halls were common in Paris, where workers would eat affordable meals in large halls. That concept has returned to Paris at Bouillon, where traditional French dishes are served to a huge room of guests, both locals and tourists alike. At 12pm each day the doors open to 300 guests and a line remains down the block all day and through the night. Today we visit this already legendary restaurant that is shaking up the restaurant scene in Paris!

Bouillon Pigalle was the first restaurant in Paris I tried. Funnily enough, I ordered the Onion Soup, Beef Bourgignon, and the Profiterole as well. Such a tasty, filling, and inexpensive introduction to French comfort food. I was so full afterwards, I was glad for the walk up to Sacré-Coeur!

I travel to Paris every year and always eat at one or more of the Bouillon restaurants. I've been to the Bouillon Pigalle 2 or 3 times and always order the onion soup. In my opinion it is the best onion soup I've had and I've had many, many versions throughout France. The boeuf Bourguignon is also very good (not the best I've ever had but easily in the top 5). You chose wisely when you picked Bouillon Pigalle for an authentic French comfort food experience.

Hi! I dont recall exactly. I do know Bouillon Pigalle has their menu on Google and on their site so you can get up to date prices. Overall, very fair pricing and less expensive than most restaurants of that caliber and location.

I'll be there in November. Have you had their Steak Frites? How far is le Chat Noir from there?

November in Paris should be lovely! I did not have the steak frites here, but I did see other guests eating it. Definitely think you should try it here if you're looking to have it. And it's only a 3 minute walk from Restaurant Le Chat Noir. 🐈‍⬛

That is correct. There are several Bouillon locations throughout the city. We settled on this one because we were visiting Montmartre that day, and Bouillon Pigalle was the closest one to us. We did not visit any other locations, but we did walk by others during our stay, and they're all decorated and designed uniquely. Wishing you all the best on your trip! 🫶😃

I am so incredibly sad! I just got an email from Bouillon Pigalle that my reservation has been cancelled since they are now going to perform renovations during the week of my reservation. Have you been to any other restaurants in the same neighborhood on Boulevard de Clichy??? Any help will be apprecited.

So sorry to hear! No worries, you can visit another of the Bouillon locations. (GOOGLE: BOUILLON PARIS). They have several locations throughout Paris. All with a unique aesthetic to compliment the neighborhood in which they are located 😃
