Nizhoni. Ahehee. I am not a Dinéh, but my heart go's to the Dinéh People. I also pray everyday when the Sun rise to give thanks to Creator for opening my eyes once again, and for All my Relations. I have learned and still learn about the Dinéh People and their way of living. I even try to learn some Dinéh language for as far I can. My Respect and Blessings. Walk in Beauty.

My aunt taught me a prayer similar to this & I had left it behind. Just hearing this prayer brought back so many memories. Thank you.

dude that's awesome. i need to ask my mother for a daily prayer, she can teach me. I was raised off the Navajo Nation, and yes i do go back for family matters. i taught myself how to read Navajo, and i would read Navajo to my friend, read to my mother and siblings. Im just saying i don't have any exuse for not knowing my native lauguage, because i tought myself, i listen to my parents speak it. Our Dine bizaad is fucking awesome. makes me feel cool. hehe.

Yeah I'm half Navajo but I consider myself "white" because I grew up in Ogden, Utah and don't speak Navajo. I wish I grew up on the rez, I've been there many times and absolutely love it. I hope other people don't forget the old ways.

@reznavajo I wish I knew this :( my grandpa... never really got to see him and everytime my foster father heard him trying to teach me, i had to leave :( I envy those that know how to reznavajo. Not cuz I don't care but I was never taught. :(
