I'm constantly amazed at what you can get for your money in rural BG. IMO it would be a brilliant place for several friends to share. Obviously I don't know what the tourism potential is if you were looking at it from a commercial point of view and whether you could get enough customers to make it viable. It's a big property and would take quite a lot of time to keep well maintained. You did a good job with the video.

Hi Lee (Emily and Hudson) Fantastic info as always. I have this property bookmarked, I didn’t realise it was where you guys are. A few setbacks at my end (Delays in some hearings only) Mildly frustrating however I need to look forwards. The larger room in the annex section (L shaped section) is ripe for a bar. Myself and Dila have been doing some traveling around the UK, family etc and we’re just marking time at the moment. Hey Sean, I don't know about pre-pandemic days before we moved here, but can ask. What we do knowing the village has three holiday rental houses being built and a future restaurant, by Bulgarians. I think tourism is on the rise in the rural areas for sure! 😊

Yes, it was rented out to fisherman and hunters in the past. It was also rented long term over the summer months. The house is 30km from Veliko Tarnovo city centre, so very well located 👍

We believe you have to register yourself and the property with the tourism authority, and pay your tax monthly, some websites say you have to register your guests online monthly as well to pay the tourist tax..I would highly recommend speaking with translators/estate agents to advise in this area on the ins and outs! current online information is hard to find! It must be fairly straightforward as there are many rental accommodation properties here, Airbnb etc..(presuming they all do the right thing! 😜)
