மிகவும் அத்தியாவசியமான பதிவு. பாராட்டுக்கள். பல வாரங்களாகப் பார்த்த பின் உங்கள் அநுபவ அறிவினைப் பகிரும் ஆவணப் படுத்தும் முயற்சிக்கு ஆதரவு தர இதை எழுதுகிறேன். மிக்க நன்றி, திருமதி.சித்ரா முரளி! பழைமை "பத்தாம் பசலித்தனம்" என்று மட்டமாகப் பேசியும் எழுதியும் "புதிய பொருட்கள் உற்பத்தி மற்றும் விற்பனை" எனும் நுகர்வுக் கலாச்சாரம் வளர்க்கப் பட்டது. வெளிநாட்டு வியாபாரிகளின் முதலீட்டுடன். புதுமைக்காக ஆசைப் பட்டுப் பழையனவற்றை (பெற்றோர் உட்பட!) தூக்கி எறித்து பழக்கப் பட்டோம். முன்னோர் என்று குறித்ததற்குக் கோபித்துக் கொள்ளாதீர்கள்! முன்னோரைத் தூக்கி "முதியோர் இல்லம்" எனும் குப்பைத் தொட்டிகளில் வீசி விட்டுக் குழந்தைகளைக் குளிப்பாட்டக் கூட ஒரு "ப்ரொஃபஷனல் நர்ஸ்" ஐ அழைக்கிறோம் இல்லையா? நம் முன்னோர் பயன்படுத்திய பொருட்களை அப்படியே அடுத்த தலைமுறைக்குத் தந்து பழக்க வழக்கங்களையும் வாழ்க்கை ஆதார அநுபங்களையும் அறிவையும் அடுத்தடுத்த தலைமுறைகளுக்கும் தொடர்ந்து வந்த தலைமுறை எவ்வளவு அறிவுடையது என்பது "இப்போது" தெரிகிறது!! அதாவது, உலகத்தின் எடையளவிற்குக் குப்பைகளை, அழிவே இல்லாத செயற்கைக் குபபைகளை, உற்பத்தி செய்து குவித்து விட்ட பிறகு!! ஒரு பொருளைப் பல வேலைகளுக்கும் பயன்படுத்தி அதன் ஆயுட்காலம் முழுவதும் வைத்திருப்பது நமது பாரம்பரிய வழக்கம். ஒவ்வொரு வேலைக்கும் தனித்தனியாகப் பொருட்களை வைத்திருப்பது நுகர்வுக் கலாச்சாரம். நமது உடைகளில் தலைக்குக் கட்டும் துண்டு இருக்கிறதே அதை மட்டும் கொஞ்சம் நினைத்துப் பாருங்கள். எத்தனை பயன்பாடுகள், கிழிந்து நைந்து "மண்ணோடு மண்ணாகும் வரை!" ஆனால், ஒரு தொப்பி? பாத்திரங்களில் ஒரு பித்தளைக் குண்டான் அல்லது பித்தளைச் சொம்பு. அதற்கு எத்தனை விதமான பயன்பாடுகள்! கடைசியில் "ஈயம் பித்தாளைக்குப் பேர்ச்சம் பழம்" ஆள் வந்து "மறுசுழற்சி" செய்ய வாங்கிச் செல்லும்வரை!! ஆனால், ஒரு ஃப்ரையிங் பான்? இப்படி அனைத்தையும் நமது இளைய தலைமுறைக்கு அடையாளம் காட்டுங்கள். பாராட்டுக்கள். உங்களது இந்த முயற்சி மிகவும் இன்றியமையாததாகும். இதையெல்லாம் நீங்கள், அதாவது சென்ற தலைமுறைக்கும் இந்தத் தலைமுறைக்கும் இணைப்பாக இருக்கும் உங்கள் தலைமுறைதான் செய்ய முடியும். இல்லாவிட்டால் ஏதாவது ஒரு "அரைகுறைப்பல்கலைக் கழகம்" நடத்தும் வியாபாரிகள், அதைவிடக் "கால்குறைப் பேராசிரிய வல்லுநர்" கூட்டத்தை வைத்துக் கொண்டு, இளைஞரிடம் "க்ராஷ் கோர்ஸ் இன் ட்ரடிஷனல் யுட்ட்ன்சில்ஸ்" என்று பணம் பிடுங்குவான்கள். தளராது செய்யுங்கள்.

Superb info. Our ancestor used to follow Food, Clothing & Shelter based on the region they belongs- thinking about their temperature, culture and their family tradition. Recent 80 years we slowly demolished all our own traditions and followed something totally against to our DNA hence faced so many health issues. Again, it’s come back let’s follow our tradition according to their landscape. Excellent video, worth watching it Founder is having good knowledge and she shared openly to transfer the knowledge. Very good initiative mam Superb I wanted to buy a wooden box ( those traditional trunk box type) We have one which is almost 75 year old we need one more hence asking If you know any place please share..

In kerala, we use claypots after seasoning.. For using on gas top it is better to season the claypots before we start cooking. Nice collection 👌🏻 Very good interview
