Anthropologists and historians should do more research that there are some similarities in the wedding culture and ceremony of these Nepalese with the Batak people's wedding ceremony and its preparations. Batak people is in North Sumatra, Indonesia, in Lake Toba, also a mountainous region. The similarities I saw from this video are food preparation, types of food (e.g. pork with pork blood I saw from the other video), giving blessings with throwing rice on people's heads, preparing the wedding money (dowry) using money and rice on a plate, etc. It is believed that the Batak people's ancestors came originally from the China or Mongolia regions starting from migrations 7000 years ago. Very intereresting to investigate more.
