Thomas, great idea and build. Glue and screws is where it's at. Unless you foresee the need to dismantle at sometime. That could also be a good hobby bench, mounted to the wall. 😁✌🖖

Your idea is great. That is indeed a space saver. The gap (elephant) lends itself to some interesting uses as a guide. Maybe with aluminum strips on either side for surface strength, 3/4" std guide gap

I would love to see you trick out that table saw. I have the same one (except mine is on a folding stand) and none of the improvements you see from KZbin wood workers work on this one.

I will be making a mobile table saw cart for it soon with plans included. It will have extra storage and more table top surface. It will most likely be done in early July.

I want to do this build but do not have a table saw, any recommendations how to do those cuts on leg frames without table saw?

You totally can. Use a miter saw or a circular saw with a straight edge. Then for the plywood top all you will need is to purchase a 2’ X 4’ sheet of plywood.

@@ThomasCustomWoodworks Hey thanks for the quick reply, I ended up just grabbing the plans for the middle weight as it looked as I could avoid doing those cuts into the 2 by 4. Also I must say your design is unique and functional made it an easy choice for my first diy bench. I look forward to what else you produce.
