@@andrewtrip8617 aha, you've spotted me commenting on another video here. I don't have enough experience or knowledge to pick up on what you noticed. I tend to look through my CMC lens, so I try not to be too critical of other Taiji performances. I can see that there are some aspects of posture and transition that are very different to CMC aporoach and also other more traditional Yang Syle videos I've seen on KZbin. You obviously have a distinct view based on your particular experience and knowledge of the Yang Style Long Form, which is great. I've often thought it might benefit me to go to a class and learn the more traditional Yang Style, but I think my years of practice in the Cheng Man Ching style still need a lot of work, so maybe jumping from one style to another is not necessarily the best thing for me to do at 61 years of age. If I was 30 say, then I would try a few different things, which is what I did in my life, starting first with Judo at 13 years of age. Of my limited Taiji experience I only really learned two styles from bonafide teachers. The first was a particular style that mixed Sun and Yang style, but had origins/influences from Choy Ley Fut, so it was very much a martial style. Applications were regularly featured in the classes. However, it also incorporated lots of Zhang Zhuang and Qigong. The second style, the one I spent much more time learning and practising, was the Cheng Man Ch'ing style/form. This was the 47 version of the original CMC 37 form. I was taught the long form right side and left side. (The short form left side we were told to work it out and practise ourselves!). Unfortunately, I wasn't with the teacher long enough to learn sword or two man forms. However, we did hours and hours of push hands and various listening, energy, rooting and power exercises in regular classes and frequent weekend intensive sessions. Hopefully, I can still learn enough from Taiji to help me maintain and improve my health over the coming years. For me the key is the daily practice, practising with other people whenever I can and getting help from experienced teachers.

Très belle prestation et la lenteur des mouvements permet d’en apprécier leurs finesses. Excellent pour se perfectionner et analyser les 85 mouvements.

Excelente realización de la forma que me ayuda a entender el sentido y movimientos precisos.. Muchas gracias.
With patience the internal energy flows. Thank you for providing the demonstration.

@@rich3419 Internal energy will flow automatically the moment your mind-intent is presence at certain spot... it freely flows. It has nothing to do with *deliberate* slowness n patience. This slow practice can strengthen the ligaments, joints sinews n teach us more discipline n yes...patience. Personally I would NOT perform this slow. I am more like a dragon slithering...soft n powerful alternate interchangeably within the movements. This is a lovely music but the master does NOT follow the music rhythm for his flow. If only he uses this melody embedded in his motions..sigh..🤗 Different stroke for different people. Cheers.

Way to Slow. 85 form takes 16- 20 minutes not 1 hour.. The jin is severed when going too slow.
