For me….nobody embodies the beauty of Celtic singing like Cathy. Such an incredibly dynamic and colorful, textured voice. Just wonderful.

As an Irish American, your beautiful music and the voice of Cathy Jordan make my heart ache for visiting Kilmovee, Co Mayo where my mom’s parents were from. I hope to make my first visit to Ireland at the age of 60 next year to meet family I’ve only corresponded with. Thank you for filling my heart with memories on this St. Patricks Day bringing beautiful memories my family who are now gone but never gone from my heart. God Bless!

I've been a fan of Celtic music for many years, and even had a couple of Dervish tunes sitting quietly in my music library. But a few days ago I accidentally "rediscovered" them and oh my, what a great group of musicians. And as for Cathy Jordan's vocals, I simply am smitten! Many thanks for posting this video.

What a beautiful version of this great classic. Thank-you for posting this. I've heard this song so many times and I really loved Steeleye Span's version, but to me this is the best version.

Yes this is a great version I love Cathy Jordan's singing , Steeleye's version was fine and my other favorite is Dick Gaughan's - of the 3 versions I'd find it impossible to say which I like best!😊

This fine Song is known as: "The Granemore Hare" or "The Hills of Granemore" or "The Hills of Greenmore". Please take a look at this list of various singers: mainlynorfolk.info/steeleye.span/songs/thehillsofgreenmore.html Greetings from Germany.

The Steely Span version was really Gaye and Terry Wood's version. An excellent version.
