But he's actually 'carrying' the ball on almost every play. His hand literally goes directly beneath the ball while the ball hangs unnaturally in the air. 1:45 on this play he does it 3 times in a row. I realize some players like IT do this ... but his is more exaggerated than most.

No you should know that fundementals are what separate alots of pros from others minimum amount of dribble to create space or contact to create that shot opportunity there footwork are insane especially if there one of those elite elite players then there in a another world when it comes to technique Especially nowadays with the technology we have and the coaches that available look at especially the kids in 10-15 yrs from now in highschool the footwork and handles are gonna be at a level where today we would call them good to elite

This is a common practice amongst many ankle breakers, but it's carry. But.. just like MobileManiac said....carry and travel they're both pretty much dead in the NBA. Do you remember the last time a carry was called? How about a travel? If you see the European leagues, you will see 2-3 of those calls per match. For doing the same thing Tray is doing here. The rules are the same... it's just that the NBA refs wont call it.

Really? the entire time I was thinking Trae's handles are smoother, tighter, and more advanced. DSJ did basic adhoc stuff that I would do. Trae's moves looked like a practiced package. His impression of DSJ says it all. If your moves are tight with purpose u wont need to over dribble. DSJ has more bounce and cleaner dunks for sure though.

On that play trae young slapped dennis elbow while Dennis was going up for a dunk during a fast break..if that led to an awkward landing that could've been an injury, so I see why he will call foul on that play
