What specific tools would a traffic signal tech use on a daily basis?

Alot of the same tools electricians use as far as hand tools. Screwdrivers, strippers, lineman pliers, knife, etc.

How dangerous is it compared to being a lineman.

I'd say it's different dangers. Traffic Signal work danger is largely the poor drivers around. Lineman work is more likely procedure danger. But I am not a Lineman, I'm a transportation wireman.

Depends where you're working. Typically starting $22.00 - $55.00 in todays market big city
